am I a complete saddo for watching it or does anyone else find it compelling viewing?

I like Adam he has a good voice and potental.. but the Johnny Cash song was dreadful

adam is just way too theatrical. he'll be in the top 3 for sure. anyone watching tonight?

I'm half watching tonight. My DH is out and it isn't so much fun when I can't point out the lingering gazes between Simon and Ryan (I want them to get married).

I haven't watched tonight - have sky+'d it. But talking of their wild card "save", I expect they've already decided on just 3 or 4 that they'll consider using it for - probably Adam, Danny ... not sure who else.

Adam was fab this week, I don't get how lots of them didn't understand that they should be interpreting a song, not just singing it- most of the vocals were forgettable.

I agree, Adam's performance was completely spellbinding, he drew me into the song, I couldn't take my eyes off him.

At the other extreme, I thought Scott, Megan and Michael were cringeworthy and I couldn't wait for them to finish singing! I also don't like Kris much as his wierd mouth movements are SO annoying!

I liked Danny, Lil, Matt, Anoop and Allison but they have a bit of catching up to do with Adam, in my opinion.

Adam is in a league of his own, the rest a bit disapointing.

I agree Adam was amazing last night (fab song as well). Should definitely be Megan, Micheal and Scott in bottom three imho. Megan is gorgeous but she just screeched last night. The clip of her singing it with Smokey Robinson sounded quite good and I was hoping she'd give a good performance...

I really like Kris as well and Allison did well last night

I think there are four groups

• Scott & Michael - why are they still there?

• Anoop, Megan, Kris, Lil - alright but won't make it far, can have dodgy song choices.

• Danny, Allison, Matt - talented, can nail a song and there is some artistry going on.

• Adam - in a league of his own, will probably win.

only watched the first half, as it was DH's birthday yesterday and he wanted to watch Bones (though why he has a crush on her I will never know as she gets more skellatal every episode) will watch the rest tonight... did watch Megan and I like her and her voice but such a terrible song choice she sounded awful.

MrsJamin - I pretty much agree - although would probably nudge Kris into the group with Danny etc.

Yes Kris may get better with time - I think he's the teenage girl vote, he's the best looking out of all of them.

Thought Matt was the best but he came on first and was forgotten.

Allison was superb, however, Simon and Paula totally dissed her by messing around with fake taches - no coincidence I'm sure that Simon was on Jay Leno this week predicting the final three would be Lil (terrible), Adam (thoughts already out there) and Kris (so so). It was really insulting.

Anyone else see that the cheey ensemble numnber they do on results night is mimed?

I noticed the lip syncing was a few seconds behind as well

Oh yes, very glad Michael went. Just could never see him as a convincing artist with a bum like that. Poor Matt though, I suspect he isn't getting the votes because he doesn't have as much teen appeal as some of the other guys do. Great voice though.

Annoys me, he wears makeup and screams and so everyone thinks he's a genius. I really think his voice is meh. But then none of them is outstanding, yet again. I think Idol's run its course.

I really like Adam but I want there to be more of a competition. I think Danny is great and Allison, but most of all I have a massive schoolgirl crush on Kris after Ain't No Sunshine, and I want to stick posters of him in my locker and write his name on my pencil-case in Tippex.

I'd like Kris to win, I think he's got quite a bit of artistry going on. Adam's screeching is getting annoying and I just think he'd be better in musical theatre or as a frontman of a rockband. I'm a big fan of Adam but agree his screeching can be annoying. I really liked him doing Tracks of my Tears and Mad World and would love to see more of that kind of stuff from him.
