am I a complete saddo for watching it or does anyone else find it compelling viewing?

Jamar was definitely robbed... I can't help thinking they did it to create a "story" of him and Danny (two best friends - one goes through, the other doesn't, sort of thing). He was so much better than a lot of others who made it through

Jamar's version of Hey there Delilah was really cool and stood out among the same-old same-old cover versions that others were belting out.

I don't understand, do the judges pick the wildcards or is there a wildcard show?

I am answering my own post here:

In the wild card round, the fourth-place finishers from each of the three semifinal rounds will return, along with other eliminated semifinalists who are chosen by the judges. Around 9 or 10 previously-eliminated contestants will be chosen to compete in the wild card round. The judges will pick the 3 performers left that they consider the best. No voting by the public will be done at this stage. (wikipedia)

Hmmm, that's interesting. Does that mean that Jamar could potentially make a dramatic return to the show? Sounds a bit too contrived to me . Or perhaps I've misunderstood.

Well I thought that Adam was AWESOME last night, despite his performance being a bit OTT and his facial contortions are a bit off-putting - but I still think I'm a teeny bit in love with him .

He is the one to beat I reckon.

Why have they brought back Tatiana for Wild Card week? She's so annoying!

I think it's because Tatiana makes 'good TV', although my DP has to leave the room when she comes on!

I thought bringing back Tatiana was quite cruel she is clearly unhinged and found it all very upsetting.

I have real problesm remembering who is who, is there a website with their pictures so I know who you are talking about,

Agree Twinset, the judges had NO intention of putting Tatiana through and just wanted to create some tension - I found it a bit disturbing as well.

we watched it yesterday, as it didn't record on the sky+ so recored it then watched it.. fastforwarding through the more lame parts... I liked alexis ... what is next weeks theme? do we know yet? please let it be blues or rock.. something lively and toe tapping..

According to DigitalSpy, the theme next week is Motown.

I quite liked Alexis too, there were FAR worse than her, eg, Michael, Scott. Not keen on Megan either.

It's still Adam all the way for me, although I can see why some people can't stand him.

I love this show! I love Randy best.

Now Adam....there's something not quite right about him..he looks a little plasticised if that makes sense.

I like the Justin Timberlake guy with the piano. And the little blonde girl...she hasn't gorn has she?

I like Megan's voice, she needs a good rock song though to shine... I like Adam, though I didnt like his performance this time... and I like Danny too but that song sucked.... they need rock songs. nods knowingly ...and I like Alison too as she is such a rocker... if only I was that cool at that age.. sadly I am mostly tone deaf and could only hope to sound like a very bad Janice Joplin

I am a complete addict and Randy is my favourite judge too, although Paula is a close second as she always makes me laugh and is just a little bonkers! Not sure how the whole wild card thing will work out, surely they'll save it till some where near the end of the series to keep up the dramatic tension?
