well, 2 hours on the 12th but you get the idea!

Am going to have to think up a new 24 name....and will need to recap last season and Redemption before monday but thought I would be first in with a thread.

Yeah, I know I mean, even if he was trying to get back undercover he has scuppered his chancves by actually killing them.

Chloe doesn't know Jack is dying yet, does she? I have a feeling that if anyone is going tot alk him into getting treatment it will be her, with her fantastic glaring under the eyebrows sulky face.

The complexity of tony is very hard to get my head around. So he was using Bill and Chloe in the beginning to help him do what?

I was trying to work this out last night, although wine had been partaken and it made it a lot harder to understand

1 - Tony starts working with terrorist/mercenary group to cause havoc
2 - Tony doesn't like it anymore so goes undercover with Bill and Chloe to help him stop the plane crashing thing
3 - Tony then helps capture and destroy plane crashing thing and goes off radar for a few hours
4 - Tony tells Jack it isn't over and leads him to white house, which leads to Juma being defeated and killed, but nearly didn't
5 - Tony is taken prisoner by hodges men and fooled into thinking he is going to be helped by hodges assistant but is double crossed to set up fbi.
Tony somehow contacts man in hodges place to nick canister for group, which is what he originally wanted.

So you could say it has been the long game to get him into hodges place to get the canister, but they(the 'group' are all pissed that the rest were destroyed, and tony is the one that destroyed them. Surely it would have been easy for him to not destroy them?

Part of me doesn't want to watch it tonight as I just don't want it to end and it's getting so close to the end of the day

I do hope that Chloe kicks Jack & Kims respective asses to get Jack cured.

Maybe Tony is good and hes out to expose the group (plum knows in her heart it isn't true, but when dh asked why Tony didn't have a shave in the shower I told him that would make him good Tony.....wistful....)

Janeane Garofolosdhfgeurfberuyvf (spelling?) character is very annoying. I was quite hoping that Jack was going to put her into some sort of choke hold when she was moaning at Chloe.

Did anyone else find it very sad when Jack thought that Palmer was still President?

I have to admit, I thought he meant Palmer for a minute and got really confused

She is getting quite it=rritating, I liked her at the start when she talked that man through shutting the plant down, but she is being really questionning and stupid at the moment.

dh and i both pissed ourselves.

my head is hurting too trying to work out tony's motives. i hope they explain it properly by the end. i can imagine sitting sitting there after the final episode just holding my head and thinking wtf?

As that woudl have worked soooooo much better, but alas, US networks would never allow that.

The only thing that could save my brain from exploding right now is if Tony has a brain tumour, or an evil twin.

And if they persist in that bloody stem cell thing I am going to get really pissed off, and I can't even google it in case of spoilers!

I loved Jack telling Chloe wannabe off.
I thought when Jack told Chloe he had something difficult to say, he was going to tell her he was dying. Poor Chloe, Bill is dead and Tony is evil, Jack thinks we are still in President Palmer land. Hope she can sort it all out.

sadly 22 weeks, and counting down the minutes. i don't know how i even get out of bed in the mornings. i can't believe i'd rather be sleep deprived, sore and engorged with a newborn and a toddler than bare this shatteringly tired, eternal vomitey state. this better be a damn good baby. maybe i'll name her audrey. or chloe.

anyway, i think i'd rather tony's evil brother too, even though that would be a rather pathetic story line!

i couldn't come on the thread until this morning because i just watched 24 last night, so had to hold out in case of spoilers...

Well I watched a programme on BBC2 the other night (maybe regional) about stem ceels being used to help 2 little girls from NI get their sight back, they had to have lumbar punctures so doubt Jack will have time for that and recovery
Sorry missed the start so don't know where the stem cells came from

He headbutted the guy because he had knocked Brooke Shields over. Random. Kinda chivalrous (sp?) and also very stupid.
Could mean a delay to series 8 which was supposed to start filming at the end of the month.

I don't think he will be healed this season, he will probably get 'fixed' between this and season 8.

i think you're right jack, they have to give us some kind of cliff hanger and that will probably be it.

i'm a bit the same about keifer - anything he does is either just amusing or somehow justifiable (me deluded? no....)
