Am going to have to think up a new 24 name....and will need to recap last season and Redemption before monday but thought I would be first in with a thread.

would love if jack is cured by belly button fluff.

i thought tony was rumoured to be back in series 8 (not that it's made yet), so maybe he won't be killed off. but that means he'll have to turn out good probably. aaaargh, i don't know.

Is Tony in the film?

I know Jack has to get better, but I still worry.

i love that you worry about jack. if there's one man in the world we don't need to worry about, it's jack. he's come back to life so many times, i'm sure he's not going to let a little deadly virus get the better of him!

Re: teh stem cells, the whole frigging reason they are so contraversial is cos of teh fact they come from fetus's and umbilical cords, so they can get them from embryo's or something.
But it's not like a blood transfusion ffs.

maybe kim is pregnant and they can get some stem cells from her unborn child ... hello ... controversial.

i hate waiting a week in between episodes. most other series i've watched on dvd in massive chunks at a time. although i do tend to start believing that i'm living inside a 24 world, which is not necessarily a healthy thing.

There has to be a full cure somewhere. I bet Tony knows where it is, which is why he was asking about the cure and if Jack would be ok so he woudln't have to get to it.

Audrey - I used to think about 24 a lot during the day when DH and I were watching the boxed sets (this is the 1st series we have watched weekly). We would get through 1 or 2 episodes a night (sometimes more ) and I would feel immersed in 24. Would find myself thinking about Jack Bauer whilst pegging out washing or something and wondering what he was up to. DH confessed that he would sometimes drift off at his desk and have a little Jack daydream too!

Ah yes, the joy of watching a full season of 24 in one sitting and then spending the next few days wishing that real life were that exciting...

Have watched the next episode, and will be back next Monday once I can discuss freely.

maybe tony had to kill larry so he can infiltraate starkwood to get the cure. that would be a cool story line.

JB... maybe you are right. Tony isn't evil, he's just undercover in starkwood to get Jack a cure. Very clever thinking.
I haven't really come across Kim before... only watched the last few seasons. DH was very happy though, and drooling slightly

it would be a better story line if tony cured jack rather than kim. (IMO)

So glad I didn't let myself read this thread yesterday - even though it then popped up in threads I'm on and I kept seeing Tony's name which was freaking me out!

Can I just remind you all that tony was the one who told Jack it wasn't over and that there were bio weapons... remember? Jack had finished at the white house and was on the washington memorial mourning Bill-Selfless-Grey-Fox-Buchanan and Tony appeared having been missing for hours and told Jack he had a source that there was more to it than this. Tony has clearly been planning this for ages.

But why? Dear God, Why!?!?!

And how could be be so cold blooded about killing Larry - just when he was starting to be nice. Why couldn't Tony smack him in the face and shoot him if he had to kill him?

And who is Tony's very attractive sidekick...?!

It does explain why Tony spent so much time standing around being all silent and watchful - I never fully got that.

Oh, and Kim - what were you thinking?!? That hair?! Maybe they're trying to highlight the whole, "Kim's from california and we're in washington now" thing. That can't be good for her hair quite frankly.

Watched it last night with DH....

We both sat there in disbelief at the end.

Why would Tony have sat on those steps and told Jack about the bio weapons a few hours ago?
Why does the age gap between Jack and Kim look like it's ever decreasing? (Oh yes, the hair prob doesn't help!)

I think Tony sat there as part of his strategy to manipulate jack into helping him get one. And being tony, he's probably still happy to blow up the rest.

Okay Jack might be cured after kissing Kim, surely with all that peroxide it will have killed something off

I think the way Tony killed him shows(sorry girls) that he is def evil, it was the look of realisation on Larrys face, because yes Tony could have just shot him again ((Plum chokes at the thought of Tomy being really evil, or admiration because he loved Michelle so much hes out for revenge))

you're right, tony has been very mysterious this season and disappearing for long stretches. must be a reason behind it - just wonder whether it's evil or greater good!
