Chris and Pui leaving... has this been discussed?

Chris and Pui are leaving CBeebies to do a new show, personally I am gutted. Especially if it means the godawful Sarah Jane is presenting. Could this be the end of Hugo Monkey's Funky Jungle Conga??????

My little boy sits transfixed for the whole of Something Special and signs 'Justin'. It's so sweet.

My DS1 (2.3) knows a few signs from Something Special too and now does them when saying the words, (eg Yes, Wait, Ice Cream, Farm, Beach, Chicken etc) It's very cute! Justin is Amazing!

Also no-one sings quite as badly as Pui, but she at least manages to be a children's presenter without pretending to be a child..

Chris and Pui cannot go. Really don't think DS2 will cope with the stress of all of this. He knows all the words to ALL of Chris's songs.

Please, not Sarah Jane she has a worrying Bonnie Langford quality about her.

I love Chris but I am not to bothered about Pui TBH. She doesn't do much.

Oh no I love Chris! He might be as camp as a row of pink fluffy tents but I believe he's quite a hit with the laydeez and loaded with it

Sarah-Jane looks like a demented badger now. I can't bear her on Tikkabilla, she always sings like she's auditioning for a stage musical.

That's terrible news! My DH reckons Sarah Jane is for men of "questionable" tastes and must regularly have to show her fan mail to the police.

Chris is lovely. Reminds me of Tom in Bridget Jones: "It's a fight! It's a real fight!"
And who could sing, "The time has come..." so poignantly?

Hugo Monkey is on the CBeebies website btw on the Songs A-Z tab. I wouldn't be able to get breakfast in DS without it!

SJ used to present years ago - surely they're not bringing her back? Are you sure they are not using old films from several Christmases ago - they often 'reuse and recycle' in true Bob fashion. I had to sit through a 2hr panto last Christmas with SJ as Peter PAn - it was excrutiating!!

I like Chris and Pui. Sarah-Jane is okay on things like H.House, but IMVHO is far to OTT as a presenter (have you een her doing birthdya cards?) and WHAT HAS SHE DONE TO HER HAIR?

Grrr - not happy here.

SJ is (correct me here) reincarnation of that bird from Rod Jane and Freddy - ie, Jane I suppose.

she is really really annoying. Someone said on here once she had a very slappable face.

Now she is just a slappable badger.
