Just seen him on Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

He is very funny. Am even contemplating buying his album on the strength of it [fdickhead]

I always though he would be very dour and religious, with no sense of humour, but I was pmsl at him

TipsyFairydifferentID · 11/12/2008 21:57

No, I've loved Josh Groban for a couple of years now. Nice to hear he has a sense of humour too!

wrinklytum · 11/12/2008 21:57

Yes,I liked him too, especially when he was trying to persuade people NOT to buy his CD.

MEGawayinamangerCLEARY · 11/12/2008 22:03

Am in love, what a fab funny cute bloke

MrsMattie · 11/12/2008 22:04

He was adorable on Buzzcocks. I heart him now

JonesTheSteam · 12/12/2008 10:59

Have just watched it on iplayer. He's lovely....

Clayhead · 13/12/2008 11:30

What a revelation! He was fantastic and so funny.

WalkinginWaynettaWonderland · 13/12/2008 11:31

he was loveley wasn't he - great sense of humour!!

Siriusmewandtinseltoo · 13/12/2008 11:39

I thought he was great too! Saw it halfway through and was blown away to realise it was himsinging you raise me up! Thought he was a comedian! I'd buy his album on the strenght of the programme!

PenelopePitstops · 13/12/2008 11:39

i ued to irrationally dislike him but he is ace after that!

BellaBear · 13/12/2008 11:42

he really impressed me - so many people get wound up by Simon Amstell, and he completely rose to the occasion and played along, it was great!

littletownofmeglethem · 13/12/2008 11:53

I liked him too. I assumed he was really square but he mucked in with everyone.

KayHarkerTheHeraldAngelsSing · 13/12/2008 20:12

Religious people are never funny. I refuse to believe it

daftpunk · 13/12/2008 20:16

i love him, always have.

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 13/12/2008 20:24

How funny, I'm just watching the recorded Buzzcocks and wanted to create this exact thread, but though, nah, no-one on MN will care!

How wrong I was!

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 13/12/2008 20:26

Who the hell is he?

ChristmasPresence · 14/12/2008 08:58

He was fab. I admire anyone who can stand up to Simon Amstell, and he did it in the best way possible. He was great and if I liked his singing then I'd buy the album like a shot. Also, the bloke sitting opposite him seemed very smiley and nice as well (from Feeder?)

MEGawayinamangerCLEARY · 14/12/2008 13:19

a religous person Kay ...what else am i missing..whats the story

AndATigerschickInAPearTree · 14/12/2008 13:39

I agree - he was brilliant!
And even better as I didn't expect to like him very much!

Here is the prog from the iplayer.

Umlellala · 14/12/2008 13:52

Oh yeah, I loved him too. In fact, have decided he would make the perfect husband for my sister. So if you're reading this, Josh, CAT me .

bran · 14/12/2008 14:00

His voice and his physique/image/dress sense are very out of kilter aren't they? A voice like that really ought to belong to a much larger man who wears a suit carefully cut to minmise the huge size of his lungs.

WalkinginWaynettaWonderland · 14/12/2008 14:14

I have to confess, I made my DH watch the repeat last night, and I found it as amusing second time around!!

bran · 14/12/2008 16:35

I've just realised who his singing reminds me of - Harry Secombe. I'm a bit upset really that a young, cool, witty, intelligent man should sing like an old man. I think he should have a bit more fun with music for a couple of decades before settling down to the sort of dreary stuff that he seems to sing. (Disclaimer: I've only searched You Tube and listened to 4 songs so he may well have done something edgey and interesting that I don't know about.)

badgermonkey · 14/12/2008 16:41

He completely stole the show! I'd never even heard of him before but he 'got' it straight away. Martin Freeman didn't get a look in, did he?

daftpunk · 14/12/2008 16:44

lol bran....i think the fact that he doesn't care about his "image" makes him edgy iykwim?
