God, I've enjoyed reading this thread so much.

I agree 100% that Diana has single-handedly reintroduced yodelling to Britain, for which she should be FLOGGED with the very same hairbrush she has been avoiding actually using on her hair.

Poor EOWIAIUEAN - he's a bit pointless really. His voice is just sort of nothing, although I think he's quite cute-looking in the same way puppies can be. You watch - he'll be selling toilet paper before we know it.

JLS - they've let the side down lately, but I think they sound great when they get their act together.

Ruth's voice and presentation I thought had really developed, and I was both shocked and disappointed that she was voted off. Should have been Diana for that dreadful rendition of Everybody Hurts ... my ears certainly did. I hope REM sues her for doing that to their lovely song. Or EOWAIEEEN for being so very forgettable.

Alex sings well and puts on a good show.

And that's my tuppence worth.

i can see Alex becoming another Jamelia or even Javine... a couple of good songs and then not a lot else. The thing about Leona is that Simon was behind her 100% and seems to have put a lot of effort into her - I just can't see him having the same enthusiam for Alex. She's got a pretty good voice but I just don't think she's got 'the x-factor'

i agree there is something missing with Alex- i don't know why i can't warm to her, even though she has got a great voice.

I was a big fan of Diana at the start of this, but even i had toagree with louis (which galls me!!) that she does the same thing all the time. Not that i think she should be prancing around the stage in an HSM stylee- but all her songs sound the same now. That's a shame, as i did like her.

i don't want Eoghan to win, he hasn't been good. But they can do wonders in a recording studio...

its cos alex is so full of herself.. she knows shes gonna win.. i dont like that and alot of ppl are put off by it

I think when Alex came on it was like "who let the real popstar into amateur night" actually. She shines. Plus she can sing a lot.

I remember thinking Leona Lewis was dull and boring and couldn't warm to her.

They've probably edited the VTs so that she seems a bit dull, still running with everyone else's emotional stories just now. Next week she'll probably cry or reveal dead granny or something.

i have just found out that it is on at 7pm this saturday- typical as this is the Saturday i work til then!!
