Never actually watched this before last night - LOVED it, is it always that good?

Worth catching up on iPlayer the one/s have missed this series?

Yes its always that good.
I was most put out after it started. Having watched the trailors for the new series I was there thinking yum not only will it have Rupert Penry-Jones but it will have Richard Armitage. then they did some killing

I think i'm going to boycott the rest of the series now they have killed Rupert off. I actually screamed at the TV

Have never seen - then last night DH told me casually that 'that bloke off Robin Hood' - Richard Armitage - my hero!!!!!! - had been in it... . (DH being lovely is going to i-player it for me tonite...)

I'm also a Spooks virgin, but completely hooked since RA joined the cast.

Actually, I find it a bit too violent for my blood; but I'm surpressing my qualms to enjoy the naked torso acting abilities of RA.

i am a long term Spooks fan and am missing RPJ (adam) a lot - for some reason Richard Armitage just doesn't do it for me!
Guess i will get used to him though..
am liking having Ros in charge, she gets all the good lines

RPJ is doing the stories on CBEEBIES at about 6.50pm. It's the only thing that has kept my grief at bay

I do find it slightly worrying that there seems to be a definite 'one in, one out' policy at MI5 with regards dishy men!

I still slightly miss Colin (the geeky specky chap who was hanged at the start of the last series). Not eye candy, but a very sweet chap and I was pretty distraught when they killed him off.

It's one of the best things about Spooks - that they do kill off the 'main' characters with unnerving regularity. It means that, unlike other programmes (none of which I can think of atm), you don't get that "well, there's 5 mins to the end of the show so how are they going to escape?" thing because you don't know if they are going to escape at all.
I can't believe they killed off Zaf, in fact, I'm not convinced he is dead as they didn't really do a proper story about it; he just disappeared!

Actually, thinking about it, they killed off Danny during a serise break ... and Keely Hawes' charcter was accused of something that we never saw happen ... so, just because we didn't see Zaf's demise, doesn't mean it didn't happen

Not sure that realistically brings him any closer to me than if he were gay, but hey I can dream!
