izzie stayed at home all miserable and lonely as she didn't hear from george in 17days

they all arrive back at hosp and meet their new interns - george is one of Merediths having failed the previous year

Lexie is one of Christinas (Lexie is meredith's half sister)

car crash - man internally decapitated with skull only held on by skin saved by McDreamy

pregnant woman has arm severed off but saved by McSteamy and baby delivered by George

weirdy fat bloke who ate cotton balls/coins/scissors/clips etc saved by Miranda

Izzie saves deer that was hit during car crash

McDreamy tells Christina that burke has handed in resignation and won't be coming back

McDreamy and McSteamy have a slight bonding moment

the chief eplains to miranda that he gave Chief Resident to Callie because Miranda is too talented a surgeon to be wasted in management and she'll thank him for it one day

Lexie tries to talk to Meridith but she decides not to take her up on it

Meredith and Derek decide to break up and then have sex

Izzie shouts at george and then george turns up at the house after work to tell Izzie he loves her too

george reminds me so much of my ex bf - minus the wife. god, how i loved him.

and what an utter fuck up it all was.

none of the new interns, apart from Lexie, know that George is there for the second year yet

they all think he is god because he delivered the baby whilst McSteamy was reattaching the pregnant womans arm

so of course gave birth in 3 seconds whilst under anesthetic and no mess/pushing etc lol

I find Meredith pretty annoying too. Why is the main charcter always so drippy? (carrie in satc, susan in housewives )

Janni, Burke was the surgeon that Christina was meant to marry(Christina=Oriental dr, Burke=black surgeon, had trouble with his hand and was shot)Burke not returning. Not good news imo

Miranda is 'the Nazi' - their mentor for the first year (can't remember whether that's an 'attending' or a resident) ~ I love her. She gets all the best lines.

Oh Solo, that's sad. I like Burke. OK so I don't know Callie yet and I remembered in the middle of the night that Bailey's (sp?) first name was Miranda. She is a brilliant character - I wish I could come up with her lines

Ah but in RL Isiah Washington got into loads of trouble - he had to take anger mangement classes or summat like that for making derogatory comments about George (can't for the life of me remember his real name) and his sexuality.

I loved Miranda when she gave birth, very funny episode.
