squeaver, thats rather a large leap to think james is like halliwell and is going to murder alistair (aka orton)

Russel is quite fanciable isnt he?

pagwatch · 23/10/2008 08:43

am I the only one who thinks lovely Russell may be in the closet?

SciFiFan · 23/10/2008 08:59

I know what you mean pagwatch - he's a bit toooo nice to be straight isn't he.

I can't believe I'm going to say it but I also think James and Ali may win it - maybe Raymond feels a bit let down by marrieds after working with Jeremy & weepy Jane last year. Plus James and Ali seem to be improving and developing each week which the judges like.

llareggub · 23/10/2008 09:00

James and Alistair are called Tatboy and Gimp on Digital Spy.

pagwatch · 23/10/2008 09:01

ROFL at Gimp

Gloria42 · 23/10/2008 09:06

Pagwatch, have been lurking on this thread since the beginning, but had to reply to your post !!!!! I [heart] Russell, and when stroppy-chops Michelle is finished with him she should send him my way (don't tell DP !)

FimboGotAxed · 23/10/2008 09:07

Can't stand Sarah (judge woman).

Kanga - can you reveal all when the comp is over?

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 23/10/2008 09:53

Tatboy and Gimp - great ! I really want them to win now - am sure they will !
The vegans were a joyless bunch and no mistake, felt a bit sorry for the ferrety one and staring man.

bundle · 23/10/2008 09:55

I love vegetarian food but agree that most of the vegans I meet put me off the whole idea. my favourite restaurant is Terre a Terre in Brighton, a veggie one, and they do lots of vegan stuff but it's definitely not joyless

flatmouse · 23/10/2008 10:43

The clangers really don't have a clue - how can Mr Clanger be running out of food constantly? I know you have to keep margins down but that is ridiculous!

Thought the slagging LoveDoves got for offering out the crostinis to the (as i kept saying last night) celeriacs was out of proportion. Yes, menu should highlight what's OK, yes Michelle should know having one as a regular BUT at least she checked everything and double-checked - the crostinis was a breakdown in communication. And as they commented VERY obvious to them that they couldn't eat it - it wasn't hidden at all.

Closetboys had much less of a grilling when they mucked up with the biscuit for the 7 yr old. RB heart Closetboys Suspect they will win.

pinkblossom · 23/10/2008 11:12

LOL Flatmouse - Love the names you have given them! From now on I will refer to them as:

The Clangers
LoveDoves
ClosetBoys

Poledra · 23/10/2008 12:08

Just watched last night's episode - the LoveDove give me the boak -did you clock them staring into each other's eyes as they all waited to be called back in to Raymond? And she is just such a princess.

Agree with bundle - if you were a party of 5 veggies and 5 vegans, you'd tell the restaurant when you booked, wouldn't you

Want the ClosetBoys to win, as I am frightened that Ali might have a hert attack if they don't - though I suppose he might well have a heart attack if they do - hmmm, not sure what's for the best

Poledra · 23/10/2008 12:10

That would be heart attack, and here's the question mark missing from the third line ?

pagwatch · 23/10/2008 12:14

Ah Gloria.
Didn't mean to sully your romantic notions.

I think he will dump hissy fit when she pitters out of judging again and looses him his chance of winning. Then he will be all your...

expatinscotland · 23/10/2008 12:15

i'd love to see the back of PoodleHead and LimpDick tonight.

Cremolatorium · 23/10/2008 12:29

ROFL at 'celeriacs' = coeliacs

pagwatch · 23/10/2008 12:37

ROFL too
hadn't spotted that !

I want to be a celeriac.
Is it an intolerance to poncey food?

I completely agree with you. I do that stockpiling thing though too. I blame my grandmother whyop always had 12 bags of flour and 6 bags of sugar 'in case there was a war'

Nagapie · 23/10/2008 14:03

The way closetboys were talking last night it seemed they were more intent on wanting to win than the competition than actually having the opportunity to do something they liked...

They seem to have had so many disparate jobs between them, I don't think they will last the year if RB chose them as the winners...

so who got the 'rowdy' guests?

the supper club people were wanky rather than rowdy.
