Yes I am VERY disappointed

I quite like the Cheerful Sole pair. I like the menus from the other place too (the couple who have the little boy).

As for the 2 friends - I am waiting for the front of house bod to stick the chefs head in the deep fat fryer.

Just been reading the bbc page and saw this

When do the winners know they have won?

Because there is a gap between the end of filming and the transmission of the programme, it is important that the winners' identity is kept secret. For that reason two endings are filmed. Raymond Blanc writes down the name of the couple he has chosen to win. That document is lodged with an independent law firm. Raymond's decision is revealed to the finalists just before transmission of the final programme.

So each couple has had to do one crying ending and one celebrating?

I'm sorry but the vegans are sooooo annoying

i even saw some in M&S yesterday asking about vegan wine ffs

God, but veggies and vegans are a PITA when it comes to eating out.

If I had a restaurant I'd not even include a veggie option on my menu for the sake of keeping out such picky people.

I had to do breakfast once for a non wheat/dairy/meat eater so she had a very bland breakfast of boil in the bag rice with grilled toms and mushrooms and a poached egg and had boiled potatoes the next day.

can you imagine that big doofer chris coping with vegans tee hee

i recently had 2 families round for a meal, amongst them:
one dairy free
two vegetarians
one no red meat
one no kiwi
one no fruit (!)
one no fish/shellfish

What did you cook them?

Aww you know just for once I wanted James and Ali to get restaurant of the week - but I suppose putting them straight into the final would have been a step too far.

I'm with Expat get rid of Cheerful Soul and her irritating lovey attitude and grating voice.
