I hope it is a double eviction. Get rid of Sara and Nicole in one go!

umbungo · 20/08/2008 21:31

ok they are both vile.

how can they treat mikey like that.

they are trying to get him to quit because they don't want him there spoiling how it looks for them.

shameful.

they don't have to be perfect BB said its based on effort over 2 days.

i'm sure mikey is putting in more effort that all the others.

ImForeverBlowingBuble · 20/08/2008 21:33

I despise despise despise Rex and rat face GF is no better

bubblerock · 20/08/2008 21:34

I so hope Nicole goes on Friday, this series has been soooooo boring, it will be one of the forgotten BB's, the producers seem to have just let them get on with it with very few twists.

umbungo · 20/08/2008 21:45

yeahhhhh mikey, you tell her!!!!!

yes nicole, fuck off out the house. so we can forget you as quick as possible.

stepfordwife · 20/08/2008 22:54

loved it when mikey told her she was up her own arse

Chickenmamma · 21/08/2008 02:14

What a superb Mikey Moment. Telling Nicole basically what we are all thinking of her.

I can't actually believe how vile Nicole and Rex are. The mind boggles as to what they must behave like when the cameras aren't around

wheresthehamster · 21/08/2008 11:08

They are both so unhappy in their relationship that I'm starting to feel sorry for them.

I didn't like Mikey much but now - brilliant! Standing up for himself in the task. He never feels sorry for himself, never asks for sympathy - just a fair crack at things. And saying that to Nicole! I don't think she realised what he'd said at first. Classic!

VictorianSqualor · 21/08/2008 11:21

Am I the only one that thought Mikey was being a twat?

I can see he wants to do the task, but if he fails, which would be totally understandable, then they are going to be on a basic budget, all because he wouldn't go into the dairy room and say that he found it hard.

He could have spoken to BB and still participated in the task without his probable failure affecting the rest of the team.

I don't really think Rex had much choice but to choose MG as MJ or she'd have stropped.

I think he seems more of a twat lately but he's just so insecure, I remember he said before MG came in the house that he wasn't very nice to people outside the house, and she turns up and he changes, then last night she told him that he sucks up to everyone and is too nice

I reckon she got bullied or something and he stuck up for her so she likes him being nasty to people, but really he isn't a horrible person just way too over-protective of MG.

Moomin · 21/08/2008 15:25

Disagree completely about Mikey being a 'twat'. Why should Rex and MG force him into not doing it? The task was judged on effort throughout the 2 days - BB obviously set it up like this because they knew Mikey would struggle. But it was soooooooo clear that their rubbish instructions were to blame. When Rachel took the time to walk him through the dance in the bedroom later he did so much better. Yes, they might not have the time to do it in this much detail whilst the others are learning it, but either of them could have taken the time to do this with Mikey on his own if they were in the least bit understanding or they truely wanted to lead well.

I really can't understand why Mikey is the only one to stand up to them. And Rxe choosing MG to avoid a strop is like a spineless parents who lets his toddler run riot because he can't handle the tantrums that follow. Their relationship is a complete disaster - she is far too immature and spoilt. and he is led by his cock. Think he will be secretly rather relieved when she goes on Friday. Dont think she will be evicted... she will be proper jettisoned. I've half a mind to go down there and boo her myself, brandishing my pitchfork.

VictorianSqualor · 21/08/2008 15:36

I didn't know it was down to effort, I assumed it was like the other tasks when it came down to people having to be spot on, which would have meant failure.
I don't think Rex and MG should've forced him into anything, but also think if it had have been on precision that when mikey was told he was able to speak to BB and not do it, then for the team, he should've spoken to them about not being judged the same way.

umbungo · 21/08/2008 15:38

have to agree with moomin. 99.9%

except i think she will go.

i think i may have to break a habit of a lifetime and actually pick up the phone to evict someone (nicole, to be specific). i don't think i've ever called/text for a reality show before.

mikey was not being a twat, why shouldn't he join in? it doesn't have to b perfect.
they just couldn't be bothered to teach him in a way he'd understand.

also, they were laughing at him for not getting it right. without including him in their joke.
but nicole was not impressed with being told that she was not in time. but its ok to laugh at mike and tell him off.

< getting off my high horse now >

umbungo · 21/08/2008 15:42

VS, BB would not have failed them because mikey wasn't precise.

surely thats a given?!!

TillyScoutsmum · 21/08/2008 15:46

REX and MG just make my stomach turn... I'm not Mikey's biggest fan but they were hideous and patronising and vile to him. They have possibly the weirdest relationship I have ever witnessed..

Mo is a slimey twat as well - there's just something ever so slightly odd about him..

Really struggling to pick a winner this year - they're all either loathsome or incredibly dull

VictorianSqualor · 21/08/2008 16:01

I did wonder umboo!
Just with what I saw last night was just rex and MG complaining in the diary room that they would fail because of Mikey.

Even DP pointed out that MG was being really rude when she was talking to Mikey though and wouldn't face him.

I get the impression Rex might be slowly waking up to what a twat she is though.

umbungo · 21/08/2008 16:11

i agree, i think when (or if) he watches it back, it will be a big wake up call.

Pinkjenny · 21/08/2008 16:15

VS - completely agree. Although one minute he seems to be realising she's very immature, and the next he's all over her. She was driving me mad last night. She's pathetic. I am voting.

Agree with Tilly , no one deserves to win this year. In fact, I haven't really loved a contestant since Brian Dowling.

VictorianSqualor · 21/08/2008 16:23

What was all this about Steph as well?
She wants Rex?
Oh please put her back in. Please. I'd like to think he'd drop MG like a hot potato for Steph.

wheresthehamster · 21/08/2008 16:30

Here VS

Pinkjenny · 21/08/2008 16:33

Sometimes I feel a bit sorry for MG though. I wonder whether I was that immature and surly at 19. I suspect I was, or maybe more so when I was about 15. How old is Rex? I think he built her up so much in his head over the 8 weeks he didn't see her, and the reality hasn't quite lived up to it.

How can he be so cross that people have voted for her when he has said himself that she hasn't really tried to become part of the group.

Tinkjon · 21/08/2008 18:17

pinkjenny, re. loving contestants, I loved Scott - forget what BB it was, I think the year that Cameron (zzz....) won? I thought he was brilliant, was gutted that he didn't win. Nice guy, funny, cute, intelligent...

My fave bit of MG recently was when she said that nobody would be able to do the dance except her - WTF?!

chocciedooby · 21/08/2008 18:29

I don't like Mikey much.I would have made every effort to keep him in the task etc but that aside I think he is completely tactless and in a way very similar to Rex as far as being mean and nasty to people.
I know Nicole is possibly a little spoilt and immature and full of herself but I didn't like how Mikey insulted her in front of everyone like that.It was horrible to watch.
They are all out for camera footage and if a bit of nastiness gets them the attention then they will use it!

TillyScoutsmum · 21/08/2008 18:33

I'm racking my brains and can;t remember who Scott was ...?!

I really loved Kate Lawler and Johnny (Geordie) on BB3. They were so funny together. I think I might even have cried a teeny bit at the end

luckymummy74 · 21/08/2008 19:32

Agree tilly, Kate and Johnny together were fab. I also liked, well didn't like as a person, but liked to watch, the stalker that was Craig (BB7?? the one where Anthony won). I think my most hated ever housemate was Makosi. When she thought she was pg after doing nothing with Anthony in the pool, and reckoned she 'just knew' the next f*ing day....I was desperaltely TTC at the time, and it made me see red!!!

Have you noticed that Rex and MG relationship is so shallow that when he has nothing to say to her, he just says 'you're very beautiful aren't you?'.......

I wish Sara had gone out last night to Rex and MG and confronted them on the ciggie thing, after Sara gave Nicole so much stuff when she didn't have her case.....

luckymummy74 · 21/08/2008 19:34

Scott from BB4
