If so you might be interested in watching his latest musical offering. Dr Horrible's sing-a-long Blog will be posted in three parts, on the 15,16,17 of this month on the website drhorrible.com/. It will only be up until Sunday night though, so catch it whilst it's there. It looks really good (there's a trailer on the site atm) and it stars the rather wonderful Nathan Fillion

Watch it and make Joss happy!

The creation of a supervillian.......

This could be the beginning of a whole new online series (please?)

Am brand new to MN so delighted to find other with similar (ahem) interests. Have recently re-watched 'Once More..' and can't help singing along, especially to the lovely James Marsters offering (is that a bit sad??)

RubberDuck · 19/07/2008 12:15

Okay, so after act three does anyone both hate and love Joss Whedon simultaneously?

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 12:29

YES!

SciFiFan · 19/07/2008 17:11

Buff1 - nothing about the delicious James Marsters is sad!!! I'm actually thinking of going to watch Dragonball just coz he's in it (and I know that was the reason I went to see PS I Love You).

(Wanders off happily to go and watch Act III).

youknownothingofthecrunch · 19/07/2008 19:56

So sad

Off to sob quietly in a corner (admittedly this is mostly because it is over)

wintera · 19/07/2008 20:54

Part III was nothing like I thought it would be. Really shocked by it to be honest! Did anyone else hang about for the grrr arghh bit at the end too? I noticed a lot of Whedon names at the end, he must have written it with his brothers. I also recognised a lot of the Buffy writers too, like Marti Noxon and Doug Petrie. Good to see them all again!!

bettythebuilder · 19/07/2008 22:41

fab, that was soo good (and sad!)

Wintera, I came on to post similar- yes, I did wait for the grr argh, and also did a bit of name spotting, a few of the Buffy lot had roles !

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 23:43

I was shocked too, as was my mate.

He was in white all along!! It was a sign!

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 00:01

I hated the ending at first. But then I thought about it for a bit, then realised that it was the best possible ending.

Don't want to give any spoilers away, but for me the most poignant bit is the last couple of seconds when it flips back to him and his last few words of the song.

When it finally hits UK iTunes, I am so buying it.

Flamesparrow · 20/07/2008 00:03

ypu, it was right, but wrong all at once

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 00:16

Okay, so confess. How many times have you watched it all the way through so far?

Have watched Acts 1 & 2 about 4 times so far. Act 3 twice.

Going to watch all the way through tomorrow again before it goes off air. C'mon iTunes UK - get your act together!!!

Flamesparrow · 20/07/2008 00:20

about the same

I love act 1 most

act 2 does have the hammer/penis though

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 09:58

"what a crazy random happenstance!"

"oh... look at my wrist, I've got to go"
"but what about your clothes?"
"I don't love these"

The penis line has me giggling every single time

Have got "a man's got to do" song stuck in my head too. But my favourite song is the "brand new day" one.

Flamesparrow · 20/07/2008 10:03

"Lacy, gently wafting curtains"

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 10:16

"The status is NOT quo"

Just finished watching act one again... "Balls"

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 10:18

(I think I might be becoming slightly obsessed, my first thought on waking this morning was "Poor Billy!")

Flamesparrow · 20/07/2008 10:22

I woke up singing "with my freeze ray I will stop.............the world"

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 10:33

"Billy... you're driving a spork into your leg"

I love sporks, they seem to easily lend to comedy, don't they?

Must go searching on the net for all the lyrics... wonder when they'll release the album?

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 10:34

And is one of the groupies Poi from Cbeebies? I keep changing my mind...

Flamesparrow · 20/07/2008 10:35

i'm struggling to find the lyrics

I'm assuming it will be on dvd for xmas

RubberDuck · 20/07/2008 10:49

"and I won't feel.... a thing"
