I know a lot of American mums like that. They're 'attachment parenting'. They're more attached to their kids than their husbands. I don't know about you all, but I'd be pretty cheesed off if my wife permanently threw me out of bed for 5 years. I'd feel like a sperm donor and a bankroll.

Sorry RTK. I don't know who I wanted to smack more at the beginning, the parents or the kids. In the end it was the mother that I most wanted to smack, but of course that's not allowed.

Didn't see the very end though because I'm a big crime drama buff and turned over to watch CSI NY, which was brilliant.
