i watched it tonight and yes the way she spoke to him did shock him but its what he needed i know kids can driving you to breaking point but he didnt need to constantly shout at them and as she proved sometimes talking to them does work and the kids settled down his job was made easier and he finaly came to realise all the work he was quite happy leaving his wife to do i felt like screaming at the tv saying hey you helped make them you help look after them if he didnt want her advice why call in for there help she wasnt there to be pally pally with them she was there to tell them straight what was going wrong and how to improve it

us british are to polite to say what we realy feel where as the americans can be to honest to keep there mouths shut you just need to find the middle line there somewhere
and please im no angel there are times i have shouted at ds where he has pushed me to far but i do think the amount that father was shouting was a bit excesive because it seemed he didnt even try to tak to the kids just constantly shouted then wondered why the kids just stopped listening i was brought up with the best form of shouting was silence because it would sink in a lot faster saying nothing at all and god my mother proved that one more than once on me
