First , thanks to @CaveMum for the threads. You’re a True Faithful 👏
Second, haven’t RTFT yet as only just joining. But I’m still fuming with James A being presented on Uncloaked as ‘being true to himself’, ‘playing the game in his own, unique way’, ‘still playing as a Faithful, leaving breadcrumbs etc’, ‘deciding from recruitment he’d out himself’, ‘didn’t he do well lasting so long’, ‘won’t it make a better final’ blah blah.
He broke the naffing rules, lied and has been the most treacherous of them all!
Because he chose to take - and chose to break - the Traitor’s Oath:
- Do you commit to lie and deceive throughout the game?
- Are you willing to murder your fellow players every single night?
- And do you vow to keep your identity and the identity of your fellow players a secret?
He also argued to be recruited, resulting in Amol’s early murder, when instead he could’ve said it’s not for him and been murdered himself. Amol was keen to be a Traitor and IMHO would’ve played by the rules and been a lot more entertaining.
Or, at any time the stress was getting too much, he could’ve told his fellow Traitors and they could’ve encouraged his banishment - to give the Faithful a bit of red, traitor meat. Or he could’ve just left the show ‘for personal reasons’ without any fuss and they could’ve recruited.
Instead, he’s done the dirty on Maya, who’s played so well. She should’ve thrown him under the bus herself. But was likely too loyal, kind and/or aware of not wanting to put him under such pressure. A courtesy he didn’t return.
I think her only chance (now James A has vindicated the bungling Michael and James B on their ‘quiet ones’ witch-hunt) is to murder Bash and convince Leigh-Anne and Rom (who’s already suspicious) that Michael and James B are the remaining two Traitors. Argue that last night was Traitor-on-Traitor and they’re coming for her to save themselves. If she instead murders Michael, James B will lead the charge in coming for her.
Come on Maya! Start the fight back.
