I thought Dani was impressive. It was mean of them to leave her til so late to be called safe.
Tabby was great; lyrical and beautiful, but athletic too. CC contempowaft will never be my favourite, but it was one of the better ones. I think they have a lovely partnership, and that's what viewers often vote for IMO.
Graeme was excellent; tango can be so dull, and I loved that they had such a fun but also authentic-sounding song. Loved Lauren's choreo too.
Delta I can't quite get on board with. I agree with Craig it was a bit 'upright'; she looked like she was striking a series of poses. Also, when she's asked a question she does go on a bit! I just find her rather dull.
Lawrence's dance I've already forgotten
but the judges seem to love him.
Lacey was a lot more interesting this week, on the floor and in interview. I'm liking her. Shirley was a bitch saying she just wants 'a teeny-tiny bit of technique'; she may not have had perfect or consistent technique, but she did show some.
John and Katya I could take or leave. honestly, although K did a stellar job with the choreo as always.
Cach I thought was stylish and the routine interesting. I respect the fact that he has clearly had a word with himself and is now knuckling down and listening to Maddie.
Bethany and Nancy I liked a lot, although I do see what the judges meant by her being a bit hesitant/considered. Understandable in such a hard dance though.
Jaime I liked, and I think it's a pity she's not getting the votes. Wonder if it's because she's not overly smiley/ingratiating. People sometimes seem to take against women who don't 'play the game'. She's a very powerful dancer and I think has a lot of potential.
Shaun was terrible and I'm relieved he went, although I'll miss Alexis. I swear he was WORSE in the DO, not better. Shirley just dislikes Jaime, I think. Shaun did give a very gracious speech though, so good for him.
Emma continues to impress me. Johannes is much better and more confident. Josh still makes Emma look like she's taking part in Bring Your Kids to Work Day though and could easily be dropped IMO. Or at least he could just do interviews upstairs, where he is quite funny (sometimes!).
Anton has always had a bit of the Anton Show going on but he is becoming insufferable. I do think he's genuinely witty and articulate, and he makes me laugh quite often, but it's too much attention on him, and his 'jokes' about Shaun didn't land well this week.
