I haven't warmed to Delta personally, but I don't hate her either and she is clearly a very good dancer.

Shaun is a lovely guy but it was his time to go. Must be tough for Jamie in DO again. I like her.

i think most viewers like a bit of a journey with contestants. That’s why ringers aren’t always very well liked either!

I’m glad Shaun went. It was definitely his time to go - although I’m still surprised he managed to stay in this long. Lawrence looks like he’s ready to go too…

I just found out that Emma is 50! I thought she was in her 30’s. She’s gorgeous. I don’t get the Delta hate… she’s not a dancer at all, she’s an actor and singer, an Adele like singer who performs with a piano. She’s also perfectly nice and sweet and genuine. Do people not like her because she’s pretty? Not her fault!

Yes I haven’t seen hate for her on here - just don’t want to her and not bothered - don’t enjoy watching her

Definitely agree. I think Jaime is lovely and dances beautifully, but a lot of people don't take to confident women and she is confident. I think that's why she isn't getting the votes sadly. It wouldn't be the same if she was a man with confidence.

I don’t actually think delta is pretty - more perfect and I find that boring - have tried to explain up post and it clearly isn’t just me - lots haven’t taken to her - she’s just so bland nothing interesting about her to me and was perfect at it from day one - I think the programme is about seeing people do what they once couldn’t - she’s always could so there’s nothing really to see

I guess I felt a youthfulness to her. I’m rubbish with guessing people’s ages above 25 and below 60 though in this day and age. As for Delta, I’m Aussie so know her a little more and she’s not known for being smug or perfect princess back home, she’s pretty chill and known for being nice.

Calling her fake, smug and other things that are simply just your own perception of her is "hate" or anti Delta, whatever you'l wish to call it.

If experienced performers shouldn't be on Strictly , then we wouldn't have had many of the fantastic dances we've seen on Strictly.

I know you'll probably just say, ah, but they're likeable, and round we go again. I accept you don't like her but I do think some posters like to remind us every time she's on.

I think they should have to dance one Ballroom and one Latin in the final. The show dance gives them the chance to show off their other skills if they want but theoretically someone could win it without dancing a single step of either in the final.

I kind of agree and sadly think women are the greatest critic of other successful,
women. However, regarding Jaime - is it the ‘nepo - baby’ tag?

She did mention that she started work as a runner, having the opportunity because of her dad. Many would love that opportunity as a way into a career as an actor. Such a difficult world to break into.

I sometimes wonder if they have one judge dissent for a bit of jeopardy 🤷‍♀️

I’m really so impressed by Emma - she’s very natural & can do relaxed & formal effortlessly. She does looks incredible. I’m also a Delta fan - not of her music or prior to Strictly just enjoying watching her dance. I mean she did get a wind machine but she prob does know how to work with one. She does have a poise & confidence the others don’t so I can see why that works against her. But I got chills watching her dance. I do love a journey & improvement too but equally I can appreciate her style. I agree with PP’s each performer brings something that others won’t have like fitness & stamina etc I mean it’s Strictly!

Oh really? I haven't read the whole thread, sorry. I don't see her as volatile. I've met Jaime a few times through work and she has always been absolutely lovely, she gives off a vibe of quiet confidence and she gets things done. I like that personally
