She is for me - none is that good straight off - it’s not just a talented beginner

Shaun seems like a lovely man and at least he managed to put in a better performance in the dance off.

I don’t know her. Haven’t heard or seen of her before this. I did enjoy her dance and she was rightly saved. I think for me this year, too many changes. New hosts, new pros and a cast that includes about half that I have never heard of.

She has good work ethic.

AJ was also had brilliant first dance with Kai. Kelvin Fletcher did an amazing samba too. They didn't get negativity for being good week after week.

Think what you like but she's not had formal dance training other than dance classes as a child. Doesn't dance a step in any of her performances as a singer.

I don't understand what she's done that is unlikeable though?

You don't like her. Fine. You don't need to find reasons to justify it, but I find the negative comments week after week spoil what is meant to be a light-hearted thread.

Delta is in the business of performing live therefore knows how to work through nerves as she’s had years of practice not the same I’m afraid as some reality or soap star ! That gives her the edge over the others and the smugness that she portrays IMO

I don't think she's a ringer as such. Just that Delta and Jamie (like Alexandra Burke) have a poise that some see as arrogance but is probably just experience if performing in front of a live audience.

My DD just remarked, (with some disdain), that Shirley is the ultimate ‘pick me’ 😂

I don't see smugness. Again another thing that good contestants get called for being good.

There have been plenty of singers and live performers who had the same advantage of working through nerves, but she is not a professional dancer, so she deserves her place on Strictly.

Truth is, most contestants have something that helps them on Strictly. John has his millions of SM followers, Tabby is used to grueling training sessions and is young and physically fit for example.

I just don't think Delta deserves the hate she's getting.

I quite liked it on Emma tonight to be fair.

@xsquared i just don’t enjoy watching her - she’s similar to Tess for me - just nothing interesting or of depth and don’t enjoy seeing her

Is just too perfect at it - it’s just like two professionals coming out so not really enjoyable to look forward to watching

we can’t all like the same - I’m sure she has plenty of support
