Im not sure if this is the same incident, but I thought where James A 'slipped up' was when Michael said something along the lines of 'if I'm murdered, xxx is a traitor' and James said 'or we were just trying to frame them' - 'we' meaning the 5 or so people who were in the room to hear him say it, rather than 'we the traitors'. I'm pretty sure that's how those in the room would have read it - that if Michael was murdered and heat was put on whoever it was that he named (I can't remember who), it would imply that one of that group was a traitor and had heard the conversation.

Jimsaidpeoplearestrange · 19/10/2026 09:40

i find it odd that Maya has never been mentioned. maybe they just forget she is there.

Yes, I thought that too; he was referring to present company, not himself.

I think Miranda mentioned her early on.

You’re right, Miranda did.

I do think Maya is benefitting from being stunningly beautiful. She’s so beautiful that people see no wrong in her whatsoever (My’hala said something along these lines in her exit reveal & Julie H mentioned Maya’s beauty in interviews after also.)

Plus she’s coming across well - nice person & good team player, so along with her beauty means she’s very under the radar (at least so far).

We might fill this thread before Wednesday at current rates - steady on because I may run out of GnR lyrics!

She is distractingly beautiful!

every time I see her in the turret I just keep saying “those cheekbones” mesmerised

It’s not the same. Only traitors can murder. It’s literally impossible for it to apply to the rest of the cast.

No but the Traitors are at the table. Obviously James knows who they are because he is one. But a faithful might say 'us' as in "one of us [currently at the table] might murder you tonight". That's how I heard it.

Edited

Once again. Nobody except the traitors can murder anyone. It’s not possible. The faithful can’t murder, they can only banish. A faithful wouldn’t say that.

ScaredButUnavoidable · 19/10/2026 16:13

CaptainMyCaptain · 19/10/2026 07:39

I don't think James A slipped up, when he said 'us' he meant the whole cast.

I agree.

That’s how I heard it too.

He meant the group collectively.

The fact nobody made an issue of it shows thats how it was interpreted too.

I think everyone understands that! People are saying the faithful could have taken it as a collective 'we', as in the excellent analogy a pp gives of 'we voted for Brexit'.

Any of us at the table could murder because anyone at the table could be a traitor. He's not saying he is one.

He comes across more faithful by saying this too - as in, 'one of us' and pretending he doesn't know which one/who.

Well that’s how I interpreted it.

Mathair2 · 19/10/2026 17:57

I interpreted it as he meant us collectively too, not that he had slipped up. But they all hopped on Joanne for saying the night at the tombs was awful, whereas I took it up like she was just saying from what she had heard it sounded awful, so maybe Im too blasé about their commentary 😅

"Some of us sitting around this table are traitors and so one of us could murder someone." The "us" is the whole group, not just the traitors. Ok, so he could have worded it differently but what he said isn't a giveaway.

But fortunately Joanne isn’t that bothered. Another Faithful who’d said that would have been like a scarlet-faced deer in the headlights.

Should add I’m not a fashionista, I just have this page bookmarked!

Playing catch up with the threads as I watched last week's episodes late but didn't Claudia's stylist make an appearance on an S&B thread about her outfits? And I think there was an Instagram feed with more info on the designers used.

LightDuvet · 18/10/2026 08:54

I think he's put a bit more into it since Kenny was recruited - like OH that's what I'm supposed to be doing 😆

I think that is unfair on Maya - she has been a good Traitor with millstones around her neck.

REG (disastrous), James A (sulky and unhelpful don'twannabeeatraitor all the time) and Hannah who I think did her best but never wanted to be a traitor either.

Finally she has a traitor who wants to do the job and might be good at it. Good luck to the pair of them and may James A be the next for banishment as he clearly doesn't want to play the game for which he took the fee.

There is an Instagram feed, I think. I’m pretty sure I saw one come up on my feed with a photo of Claudia sitting in the ‘diary room’ chair, with the sources for each garment listed — it was the outfit with the stripy Celine jumper, khaki trousers etc.

So agree with all this.

RipplePlease6 · 20/10/2026 10:35

Just had a Traitors chat with a friend who has a veeeery interesting theory re the yawning…
He wonders if Ross twigs (as he seemed to be doing in the edit) then leaves the room to inform others of the “murder in plain sight”. Meanwhile, Jerry actually yawns and then is murdered.
So there would be massive heat on Maya and James A.
