A pp said there will be audience vote and no live Voice.

Weirdly (despite never having watched it) I understand they have not had a live element for many years. I have a friend who had a technical TV job who works on it.

I do like Halloween week. It’s very full on and some great costumes.
Katya and Lewis last year with Creep was fantastic.

I’m not totally against the presenting team but currently neither Josh nor JoJo is working and they need to sort it quickly

Ah, Greatest showman one. Yeah, I got a bit bored with that.
And I forgot Delta completely even though she acted it well. Got a bit bored with that one too.
Normally love an American smooth.

I don’t know why the bbc doesn’t mix it up with the presenters. Everyone feels it would be better with Josh up in the gallery and I’ve read a lot of comments and so on. Most people seem to agree it’s his natural home.
However, they probably can’t lose face now and maybe JJ is happy doing what he is doing , so it’ll stay like it is.

It’s only a light entertainment programme at the end of the day. They can change it around next year or maybe Josh will step aside or something like that.

I don't mind it all to be honest.
Am in the minority but think Josh and Emma work well together.
She has slotted into the role beautifully.
Complete natural on camera and just has it.
JoJo I can take or leave but he seems to be enjoying himself.

I found the whole thing a bit meh. I’ve watched strictly since the beginning but am finding it all a bit lacklustre now. It’s not just the new presenters, there seems to be something missing. It was always a bit cheesy but used to have a touch of class and some showbiz glamour. Maybe I’ve watched it for too long and finding it all too samey. Grease, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and Wicked. Same old same old. My heart sank a bit when I saw another green face and pointy hat.

I guess they are running out of ideas a bit with the themes. That’s why I like Creep last year with the piano as a bit different and well done.
It does repeat itself a bit at times , but they also have to play to the contestants strengths as well.

I think that was lighthearted tbf. She does the skeleton in the winter Olympics and Tabby (cat)

I disagree, I think it works well, but then I found Tess tedious and Claudia annoying. At least it's not all about them.

I agree. I came off the last thread because the criticism got very nasty, imo. They're just presenters, they're not making decisions!

It can be a bit serious sometimes, not everything has to be confrontational. .

I’m watching Oti on YouTube (her podcast with her husband) she’s just basically said that Jason Gilkenson interferes in the routines and then the judges say there’s not enough content and its basically JGs fault

Really impressed with Shaun’s improvement from week 1. He almost looked like he enjoyed it!

Lacey and Graham I think were my favourite of the night.

Josh is terrible but my 11 year old thinks he’s hilarious so maybe I’m just not his target audience!
