I like Johanne! I get her. She was bullied at the beginning - main instigator Revolting Rochelle - and J became loud and defensive in the style of a Real Housewife. She is not a diplomat, but says it as it is. Generally, in life, people do not like that. It is not what she says, but how she says it.

Add into the mix she is a loud, confident, Black American woman, she will attract the wussy haters and that will probably be further fuelled by unconscious bias.

It is Revolting Rochelle who has declared several time I HATE her; I DETEST her. R does act like an old hag … a good description of her, and her language shows her to be a hateful person. Chicken Gate was not a micro aggression on R’s part, it was full-on hate. I also believe the fact it was Pauline’s vote was taken from her was not decided by fair analysis, but was micro-aggression fuelled by unconscious bias.

I have no doubt that Revolting Rochelle will be saved to carry on her attention seeking wailing but at least there is nobody without limbs left to scare her and one less fat person to offend her hateful heart, not to mention one less confident mature Black woman to call her out.

Bloody hell 😂

Posts like this remind me of how we all watch the same thing but view it totally differently.

Rochelle to stay for me! I was surprised at Phillip nominating her. After what was on the ball, he will do so again should she stay.

Johanne's reaction to the warning in the diary room is who she is.

But once again, a big character will leave, again another woman, while snoozefests Harry and Sam stay.

Johanne’s reaction was very cool and measured. She may not have agreed but she listened and she took it without comment. I cannot see what was wrong about that, but understand that silence often offends.

I 100% agree people can watch the same thing and create their own narrative around it. We all have our own viewing lens.

I have no doubt at all that Johanne will be leaving.

I'm interested in the viewpoint of her reaction being cool and measured. Was she the same cool and measured when they were in the task room and she came for Rochelle out of no where???

I wish they could both stay as I do love the drama it’s very entertaining however I think we can all see she has a very nasty streak and cannot see the wider picture of why people react to her the way they do. Imagine having to refer to being called out on sabotaging a task as “micro aggressive” just because you don’t like someone - booooorin!!!

We are talking of two completely different scenarios. Two completely different dynamics. It is not comparing like with like. Johanne did nothing wrong in her silence to the unfair (in my opinion) official warning. BB should have had them both in for an unofficial warning.

The misunderstanding entirely fuelled by Revolting Rochelle around the original micro aggression comment when two Black women were privately discussing their lived experience, has indeed become boring.

Neverendingstory1989 · Today 10:56

I do think Rochelle and Johanne are genuine though, hate them or love them!
The most so in there, and I hate the fact two big characters (woman) have been nominated and one of them is leaving tomorrow.

Im unsure of Pauline, I dont know if she is just trying to be on level with Johanne as the others dont tend to bother with her.
I just wish she would be her own person.

Sam and Rob are boring and are just staying on the sideline playing it safe!

Philip is another one I can not quite like him or dislike him and and my opinion of him changes all the time.
I think he would stab you in the back if he had to though.

Yasmin means well I think, she is loud and I can see why she can annoy people but I quite like her.

Linx is definitely playing the game!

Omer I do like him even with the ganster speak! And he seems quite intelligent.

velvetskies · Today 10:58

Completely agree, especially on Philip. I think he’s really funny at times and harmless, other times I think wow I would NOT cross him, I think he’s one of those people of when he loses his 💩 …. He loses his 💩

Agree with this. I really want Revolting Rochelle to go but she will no doubt stay and then will be even more insufferable.

ConstantlyFuriosa · Today 13:45

Phillip just seems nasty to me. And whenever he hugs someone or consoles them it seems so superficial. He couldn’t give a toss about any of them (and why should he) but he’s the fakest person in there. Oh no, Frankie is. Then Phillip.

Coming in late here. I have been watching from the start, but have been a couple of episodes behind up to now. Have now caught up!

I agree with this. I thought Johanne was OK to start with, and was 'misunderstood' a bit, but when she said to Rochelle, 'if you have had bad luck it's because God thinks you deserve it,' I went off her. It's shit like this that gives Christians a bad name, and is the reason many do not go to Church anymore, because there are people like this there.

As you say, she has a very nasty streak, and is spiteful and vicious. Like you said, she came at Rochelle in the task (in last night's episode,) for absolutely nothing.

It's a shame because I liked her at first, but she can go now IMO. I am also (as has been said by others) sick of her blaming everything that doesn't go her way, (and everything someone says that she doesn't like,) on racism and 'microaggressions.' I like Pauline, but I think Johanne is bringing her down to her level, in the 'let's accuse everyone of racism' game.

The audience that were there when Chelsey came out of the house booed when Chelsey slated Johanne, so I don't know if they represent the feelings of the public. (That audience suggested Johanne is popular.)

I think Rochelle is hard work sometimes, and is an attention seeking Nikki Grahame wannabe, and she comes across as a bit privileged, but I don't think she has a bad bone in her body, and is fairly harmless.

She also (as some housemates said) is very helpful and useful in the house, as she cleans and cooks and tidies up. She was good in the furniture building task too.

I am definitely voting to evict Johanne.

I was sorry to see Charlotte go, but she wasn't enjoying it I don't think.

Also agree that I wouldn't miss Sam and Rob. I like Philip, but think he would be scary if he got angry. I am on the fence about Lynx. Don't like him, don't dislike him. I like Rhianna and think she is sweet. Yasmin seems nice but I think she'd get on my nerves sometimes as she is soooo loud. As I said earlier, I like Pauline, but think Johanne is leading her astray with her 'them and us' vibe. Harry I am indifferent about. I did NOT like Chelsey and cheered when she went! I thought Millie was OK, and was surprised when she went. I quite like Frankie. I love Omar! I think he is very endearing.

Sorry if I have forgotten anyone.

purpleme12 · Today 13:49

I think the booing was just that they were agreeing when she slated Joanne

JasmineMac · Today 13:57

I was on the fence with Rochelle, I thought she was maybe just really nervous at first, but she's actually just an awful person. I think she's maybe lying about her age too 🙈 I think she looks, facially, about 70. That said, Philip looks 10 years older than he's claiming too 😂

Johanne is awful too though. Notwithstanding the horribly venomous tantrums aimed at Rochelle, she's taking petty huffs with other HM's.

The older contingent in there are NOT representing well. The younger ones are showing them up.

Neverendingstory1989 · Today 14:35

Apparently there is two new people coming in!

Omar seems quite stressed in the sneak peek!
I think anyone would after a while especially if your living with people that are noisey and messy!

Philip is onto Pauline apparently lol.
