Not to sound all Rose Tinted and that but it was so ace. Chickens in the garden (one of whom they named Marjorie). They used a mangle to wash their clothes. And it was so strict that some bloke called Nasty Nick became the most hated man in Britain for writing down people’s names in an effort to sway the nominations.

And you could watch it 24 hours a day so if you were a student and getting up pissed at 4pm it would be on at any time.

Heady days.

Sigh.

Honestly the days of good reality TV are over 😞, it's so sad

Well this white middle class demographic is voting to evict Johanne this week x5! 😂

They were indeed heady days - everyone I knew talked about Nasty Nick & Craig‘s speech was gripping!

Can’t remember which poster asked but Brian Bellow won BB and then a few years later sued TOWIE as he said they stole his idea - he did talk about that as a concept when he was in the BB house. I think he lost the case though but not sure.

Johanne is so personal when she goes for Rochelle that it’s pretty awful to watch (even if she’s good entertainment generally) - the things she says are really vile & yet she seems to have no idea of just how out of order she is.

Rob was so annoying tonight.

It will be interesting to see how Pauline interacts if Johanne goes. We saw a snippet tonight of her in the snug with some of the others. Makes a change from hiding in the bedroom with Johanne.

The message on the ball that he and Rochelle are favs to win is going to trigger him as well I reckon. He nominated her. He knows she's a 'character' and therefore a threat. If she stays I think we will hear him bitching about her behind her back a lot more. Planting seeds...

I don't really mind who goes. Whoever it is, it will shift the dynamics of the house again like it did when Chelsey left. If Joanne goes, P will integrate with the group more like Rhiana has done after Chelsey going.

If someone like Rob went it would be a shame because he seems nice but it wouldn't affect the house. I like a change so as long as one of the big dogs is gone, that should do it.

Even if it's a fake eviction, it will still be interesting to see how everyone re-groups. I don't like Rochelle or Joanne but they are people at the end of the day. Very brave to go on a show like that these days.
