Just me watching the new series? I enjoyed last nights episode, little Jimmy is a sweetie.

i watched it too and loved it! Boo hiss at the new vet though - he seems like a prize a-hole, so hopefully he'll turn out to be lovely really, or if not, that the other 3 vets will send him packing with a lorry load of manure in his sports car! It was good to see more stories about the animals, too.

I wasn't able to watch it last night but caught up with it a couple of hours ago (but kept dozing off so will need to watch it properly)

YY - not keen on the new rival vet at all!! Early days though...

Aaaah. Evil new vet or not, ACG&S is my autumn happy place.

I really want to start from the beginning. I really enjoyed the books.

Soooo cosy and gorgeous! Essential autumn viewing and I’m hoping there will be the usual Christmas episode too!

I loved it, such a warm and happy programme. I'm not happy that Dorothy is with Siegfried though!

The sweet shop man was so nice. I wanted the cat to get better for him.

So happy it's back! This is such an antidote to all the misery in the news at the moment. I want to go and live in Darrowby, but not in Skeldale house because you can never get in the bathroom 😂

I wouldn't mind going to Charlotte's for a bath, though! That looked lovely 😍

Been feeling so miserable about the state of the world I couldn’t wait for the new series to begin. Read all the books when I was a teenager. Watched the first one tonight as I save them for Sundays. Was it me or was Arthur an animatronic?!

And yes. That’s my kind of bath 🛁🍾

I loved it! And Alfred the cat! Oh, is that who you thought was an animatronic? Maybe!! 🤔. He was beautiful.

I didn't realise there was a new series! That's lifted my mood immensely.

I didn’t understand the cow angst, I’m guessing they usually breed a certain (Yorkshire?) cow and Helen wanted to try a different cow?

I liked James and Helen walking Jimmy to school, felt very apt for the time of year!

Plus how they were a little bit teary about his first day! I think Helen wants Friesians because they yield more, but the milk quality isn't as good as their Jerseys.

I think Alfred was an actual cat (apart from the bit when they operated on him) just a particularly placid cat.

I love her wardrobe in this show. Hace you noticed she always wears dark red or teal?
