I like Vinnie acting too. He’s one of the few not winging like the rest, including whoever writes the silly storylines.

Vinny is going to have his heart broken isn’t he.
I get the impression he is more into her than she is with him, but he really wants to be a dad and so happy.

Could it be that Jazz Hands is extremely evil and the actor is playing the "something off here" thing really well.

I think those rumours are trying to fill and void and make a story where there is none. His story will have been chopped to bits presumably because by the time he appeared on screen the producer knew Zoe was leaving in a box.

The actor does 'nice' fairly competently. We've seen what happens when he tries any other emotion. 😧

@Shellingbynight I'm sure he's just constipated when it looks like he's doing emotion.

Agree it seems like there was a back story or something but with no Zoe it's just pointless. I remember the scene when Denise and Kim visited his mum and they didn't have tea bags so Kim did a big shop for them. Then nothing else was mentioned.

I thought so too. The twins mother is a good actress, they should have used her, maybe there is still something to come now that Zoe has died.
I wonder if there is more to the story with the father dying?
Jack was foolish to give Kat the phone log, exactly why police shouldn’t be placed in their local area. The high crime rate on Albert square between Mo selling dodgy goods and random kidnappings, Ravi and Nicola’s family had a hostage in the month gone by.

Dreading the Amy storyline. I hope it doesn’t drag on.
It may be why Jack is so down NYD , although doesn’t explain his wedding ring being off his finger.
I hope someone saves Amy. Maybe Denzil will realize what’s going on ?

I wonder if the Jack and Jack thing is just Denise coming home to utter chaos. Amy being groomed, there was the whole thing with Chelsea and grays grandmother the family fell apart without her

Could be that Denise has the transplant and finally able to get home and finds out about Amy and Craig they have Ethan around and Libby back too. Enough to make anyone storm off ! Plus Ethan and Jimmy being rescued by Max too. Why does someone want to harm two children ? Even Cindy wouldn’t stoop that low.

I think Denise comes home to find Jack not working, everything in chaos, Amy having been groomed by one of his own colleagues, plus whatever happened with Ethan. Jack never has his eye on the ball with his family, it's always Dee who picks up the pieces. And he's now twice illegally access police investigation info in the past couple of months.

I thought Sandra solved her financial problems by the move to Southend, but it did all seem to be shuffled under the carpet. Jasmine's adoptive mother hinted darkly at her evil side and has never been mentioned again, even Jasmine has forgotten she exists.

i think the Josh actor is a victim of shit writing, i've seen him in other stuff and he has done brilliantly.

I feel like they're just not playing to his strengths or the characters potential.. he comes across like he needs to have more of the lighter/bitchy/playful stuff, he wasn't awful when they first bought him in to interact with Oscar. I don't think his current reaction of kind of.. numb, not bothered/not knowing how to feel is out of line for what they've given him though.

EE need to dial back this constant barrage of misery and heartbreak.. we need some light and fun, and silly... we can't react to 'big' weeks like this week because we're just fatigued from one BIG thing after another atm.

Zoe should have just died to highlight not getting head injuries seen to.
Penny should just be a highlight on navigating being a newborn mum as a wheelchair user, we didn't need the 'who's the daddy' crap, or Vinny being stoned.

Agree that Vinny taking those drugs was just ridiculous. He used to be a DJ in the club, you would think he’d be a bit more clued up really. (Although they did look like sweets from the market. ) Ryder is a complete tool, just lucky that Ria didn’t eat one :(
I hope that Avani and Nugget cotton on to the fact their new sibling may not be Ravi’s ! They seem more sensible than their Dad who hasn’t really questioned it and believes that contraception never fails. When it comes to Max B you assume nothing!
Cindy will find out about Linda no doubt , maybe in time for Christmas. Although he already seems fed up with her and she shouldn’t be with someone who necks whiskey like he does. Maybe they won’t stay together?

@Shellingbynight someone, I can’t remember who, did briefly mention Jasmine’s adoptive mum this week. It was a blink and you miss it moment “I called your mum and she said to tell you she is so sorry” Might have been Alfie? It did make me chuckle. Your adopted daughter’s bio mum dies, 9 months after she killed her bio dad, and you just pass on your condolences lol.

Josh’s mum had bare cupboards and no food or money when Kim visited but it was all solved by her moving to Southend and never mentioned again🤷🏽‍♀️

Vinny randomly eating sweets from an unmarked plastic bag was ridiculous. Agree that as a club DJ, not to mention the brother of a prolific dealer, he would have known to steer clear.

George announcing he is leaving for weeks to do ex-pro commentating and Nicola calmly shrugging yeah I’ll be fine with Ruby was also very unrealistic. Doesn’t he have a restaurant to run?!

Denise will come home to a mad house. Jack is definitely on the road to losing his job, poor Amy. Hopefully Denzel will notice. Or even better Kim. She can knock his block off.
It is good to highlight grooming, I remember being 17 thinking that I knew it all, it is easy to trust the wrong men when they’re older and manipulative.
I don’t think anyone should be in a big age gap relationship until they’re at least 23.

Imagine the little girl had of consumed one of the jellies. She’d be removed promptly.
They are so dangerous.

Honestly, I don’t think she should have been placed with them in the first place. Eve can be very volatile when things don’t go her way, has a criminal record and physically assaulted Nicola not long ago. And Suki is…Suki. A lot of trauma plus she has a dreadful track record with her own kids. Think it was Nicola who brilliantly said your kids are either in prison, dead, don’t want to know you or Vinny🤣

I didn’t buy into the whole fostering story with Suki and Eve. I doubt they would have got past first vetting in real life.

Ivy is clearly in the kiddie cupboard now. Ned has offered to help out, so I guess we have to believe she’s happy leaving her with the awful Ryder ( the drugs maker) Jodie who seems to find it all funny and Gemma who doesn’t seem to know what day it is or her horrible mum. Ned seems the only one with his head screwed on tbh.

New head Ash is back next week and in trouble.

There was very little this week which outside the realms of a fairy tale. No one is behaving like a normal human.

I am surprised Jack has not been fired or at least suspended by NYD, but he is obviously still working as he strolls around the cop shop asking questions about Max.

80s the whole Ash thing sounds ridiculous. She hates Suki so much she didn't even tell her she was getting married a few months ago. Now she's turned up in Walford.

Max usually has two women on the go, but three is pushing it. Once Priya and Cinders find out about Linda , big blow up looming there not to mention the daddy stories with Max and Vinny too.
I am so shocked that hard man Ravi hasn’t asked for a DNA test or something. Most men would.

I don’t remember much about Ash first time around. Suki being horrible to her for being gay rings a bell, but I don’t recall any other stories with her that much.
It was all Nish and Suki (at first) and Kheerat.

What else have you seen Josh in @ChillingWithMySnowmies ? I'm intrigued to see him actually acting. All I can see him credited in is one episode of Doctors, which I can't imagine has the best script either.
