Watching now. Great start 👀

cromwell44 · 20/08/2026 16:21

I love this programme and have had to use very strong willpower not to binge the whole series and limit to 2 episodes, max. A really good range of a couples this series.

onyourway · 20/08/2026 16:34

Thank you, love this

SwedishEdith · 20/08/2026 18:02

I could only watched two episodes last night.

What are we thinking so far about any of the couples?

Highonmyownsupply · 20/08/2026 22:06

I’ve totally binged it. Honestly, I found all the couples really likeable this time around.

Oh, and Orla has a new puppy.

AnnieDoodling · 20/08/2026 22:16

I have watched the first three episodes. I really want to make it last so will restrict myself as much as I can. It’s fascinating!

Thank you!!! I’ll be watching this tonight once I’ve finished widows bay

MissyB1 · 21/08/2026 16:28

Thank you, didn’t know about this, can’t wait to start it!

Hallelujah2020 · 21/08/2026 20:00

Brilliant couples this series but in particular for me Clinton & Shay because my OH is autistic. So much is resonating.

I also really want Drea & Ness to work out and Sienna & Chris

Can’t gel so far with Jason & Majorie

I've got a week off next week so I might binge on them all. Don't want to comment too much on any of them until I've seen it all.

Illicililly · 22/08/2026 09:50

Loving this again. I can’t take to Chris, so many lame excuses for being a complete dick to his lovely wife.

MintChocolate123 · 24/08/2026 20:23

I’m watching too!

Tenofcups · 24/08/2026 20:43

Just finished them all, best couples for a long while, really interesting

cromwell44 · 24/08/2026 21:26

I’ve now watched the whole series. All the couples seemed to benefit from the therapy and the outcomes weren’t necessarily what I expected at the start. As sessions continued, several individuals’ earlier trauma emerged which really helped to understand their behaviour and responses. I shed a tear during the final episode.

purpleme12 · 28/08/2026 09:17

What is with the 'cuddle sessions'

Marjorie is such an unusual name nowadays

purpleme12 · 28/08/2026 09:28

Watched episode 5

I do think Jason was wrong to say to his son 'don't call her grandma she's not a grandma' and that 'she refuses to pick you up but not your cousins '

Paying for affection. His back story is very sad.

purpleme12 · 28/08/2026 17:41

I mean I know it's sad but he still had a wife to get cuddles and affection from didn't he

NeedAnyHelpWithThatPaperBag · 28/08/2026 19:53

For me this series is more engaging than that last one. Nothing has to be dragged out of them though, for sure. And they're very clued up on terminologies, as Orla noted. Wrt Clinton I can't help thinking that he's "performancing" his autism to some degree and think that Shay should friend zone him asap.

crunchypeanutbutterontoast · 31/08/2026 22:30

Agree, great series, it is an interesting mix of people. Everyone seemed to have really tough childhoods especially Chris! Interesting to see how those wounds bleed into adult relationships if not healed. I wonder what will happen with Jason and Marjorie in the future, they are not a team as it was pointed out. That must be exhausting for both of them (but especially Marjorie!)

thebear1 · 02/09/2026 21:39

Only watched two episodes so far, but find all the couples really interesting. Could happily binge watch them all.

MyballsareSandy2015 · 07/09/2026 14:24

It’s so good. I’m not a fan of Chris. I know his childhood was awful but even so.

I did think the counsellor looked unwell though, hope she’s ok.

PhilHellene · 07/09/2026 14:37

Yes, Orna G is looking very thin suddenly.

I’ve become drawn into this series after inhaling all the previous ones except the last - I’m now thinking I need to go back and catch up with that. The bits that really fascinate me are the little clips of everyday life and glimpses of their homes. I’m just so nosey 🫣

I can’t quite work out what’s happening with Drea and Nessa - what does Nessa actually want? But then the next moment I think Drea is utterly passive. They’re very hard to read.
