Cold custard sounds SO much better than pie custard!!

The Hugh Fernley Whittingstall Steak and Kidney Pie from the Meat cookbook is slow cooked and fabulous. I swap kidney for chestnut mushrooms.

Mint jus? Looked like mint sauce to me.
