If I were a lot of years younger and slimmer I’d definitely fancy Mark, but I know I’m not his type. I feel he likes a good looking high maintenance type of woman.
One reason I was surprised that Zac fell for Vicki really as she wasn’t his usual type.

Petah and Lauren have never worked as a pair really. Too much like Cindy and Ian. She just used him most of the time and they were never suited. He just liked a trophy woman and was a bit of an idiot with her in the early days and she went on to hate him.

Lauren hasn't lost her head with cro mangan Mark, otherwise there would be an all night session already. I seem to recall that herself and Peter had an afternoon delight not too long ago. Lucky girl.

I picture myself with Mark by pretending I’m 20 years younger and 10 kilos lighter🤣 Plus the actor was born and raised a couple of miles from where I grew up so I tell myself we were meant to be lol.

I can't remember Lauren having chemistry with anyone.

Thanks for the reminder, I didn’t remember Max nodding at Mark, so they must have made up by then. I have a feeling some of this plotting will be a big let down when it comes to it.

Max must be marrying Cindy. The only question is why. She must know, and I don’t believe she’d forgive him without enforcing some type of punishment.

Zack is the best looking guy on the square. 😎

Fast forward is only five months away.

Baby is Penny's

The charge of conspiracy to murder has been dropped against Max, Jack calls in a favour.

Jack is struggling with drink issues and has a baby, presumably Penny's, to look after and is seemingly on his own.

Hostage situation with Max's children Lauren, who dubbed him in, and Oscar, part of the best man team. Nobody would help him with his tie, except Patrick.

Kathy seemed distracted with her phone.

Ian and Kathy had a frank talk about why he's Max's best man after all he's done.

There's a leather gloved woman.

There's a pregnant woman with a scan picture of the baby in Max's bed.

Mark’s surname is Aaron Sipple and he is from the east end. family tree has a Sipple on my mums side. It’s an unusual name and they are from the east end , so might he may a very distant relation you never know!

Max does nod at Mark NYD and it doesn’t seem too unfriendly. Max was awful to Priya yesterday and Jean too ;(
I watched the last scenes with Priya and she quits it all , but I bet he wins her round. Or Cindy is aware of the cheating and only doing all this for revenge !

Lauren is generally very screechy and miserable so no, she has never had any chemistry with anyone. Peter has been the best of a bad lot but she's just not interested in him and wants the excitement of a criminal rogue or someone whose already in a relationship. Her father's daughter indeed.

@the80sweregreat that is a very unusual surname and not one I've ever heard growing up in East London so I'm calling it, you are related to Mark😄

Eastie, be funny if I was! I’ll have to try and do the family history thing now, but I haven’t before as I’ve no real interest in it. I’ve heard the surname mentioned many years ago by an auntie of mine and all my family are from the east end , bow bells and all that, so maybe he is a distant relative! He doesn’t resemble anyone I know though! People had large families back then.

This NuHead Mark Jr ( Stephen Aaoron Sipple) is streets ahead of OldHead Mark Jr (played by Ned Porteous who skipped over to Emmerdale)

He’s 38?! So I’m less than 15 years older than him - don’t feel like such a dirty old lady for thinking he’s quite cute now 😆 (though I’m not too keen on the Incredible Hulk-sized muscles)

I’m going to miss EE for the next two weeks. Can’t decide whether to have an iPlayer binge when I get back or to just read this thread, which will probably be more entertaining 😄

I haveen't watched last weeks so need to catch up , but when I'm away I'll follow the plot on here and decide if I'm going to vcatch up ,

The episodes I miss will be the best,most exciting ones

70s , I’d definitely try and watch Thursday’s one if you can . It will lead into next week’s plot with Jordan.

I'll catch up once I evict DH from the telly , he's binge watching House of the Dragon (which is even more tedious than Game of Thrones )

I was reading up Stephen Aaron Sipples health story , apparently (from Men's Health magazine) he piled on weight when his daughter was born as he was -in his own words- not able to excercise and taking the lazy way out with take-aways . He did a life style change ( diagnosed with diabetes) and worked as a firefighter because he needed a stable career .(There isn't a man alive who wouldn't look better in uniform)

Between Mark/Ravi/Zac the order would be
Mark- quirky little smile (but a 100% wrong'un)
Zac- cute , bit goofy ( bad choices made)
Ravi-nice eyes but not a fan of both lobes pierced on a bloke (and a wrong 'un)

Ash Fererrai is still on the No1 slot though he left years ago (not a wrong'un but bullied by his horrible dad)

I’ve never watched. GoT or the dragon one.
I can imagine they are hard going. Ds2 hasn’t got over the ending of Got at all .. he spent weeks muttering about it darkly.

Ds1 watched ‘ Vikings ‘ or something once a long time ago and that seemed to be Eastenders in ye olden days with more violence.

DH was muttering over the ending of GOT too !

My DS was whittering about Blood Eagles after watching Vikings (don't Google if you have a weak stomach)

If Eastenders ever does a history flashback , they could be in the Viking era . Though they'd do an Eastenders in Jack the Ripper Time Flashback

I can see a Jack ripper special ! Was it Beale ? Was it a Branning ? That dodgy Moon character’ ?
It could be a good who dunnit.

I think next week is a good week to miss if you're away on holiday! It seems to be full of Gray and Jordan's kidnap.

That is interesting about Aaron S. But I agree with PP that I don't like the 'built' look which is why neither him nor Ravi appeal.

There are a lot more good looking women on EE than men.

Harry is sweet and doesn’t have the muscles look going on too much. He is being marketed as the loser out of the men isn’t he. A bit of a drifter type.
He will have a shock when it transpires he is the daddy and have to step up though. It’ll be messy.

I wonder how they will write out Priya ?
I can’t imagine her leaving Avida and Nugget behind, it may be tricky.

Shouldn't that be Jack and Jack the ripper(s)?
