Storm, don’t feel bad. I thought the one playing Gemma was in her 30s and she’s 51 ! She looks good for her age and its not a close up photo , but even so .. 😆

I loved the scene with Nicola and Eve. They could be good friends, a scary pair but friends.

we we’re all confused by how only Nic and jumpers were meant to be at the start too if I remember correctly

Nicola had been inside for using fake botox at the start and appeared a little while after jumpers . I can actually see her back inside with Ian and Gray and Rocky and Ben in the grey sweater. One more the spin off ‘ insiders ‘ featuring all our favourite inmates.

Ben should be released around now, last October when he returned he said he had a reduced sentence. At the time was hinted the actor would return permanently a bit later, but it now seems it was one of those pointless guest appearances.

I liked Ben. He was a good actor.
People online not too impressed with the new family! Have to give them a chance , but if Rose is another Peggy I won’t be happy. There was only ever one Peggy Mitchell.

I like Nicola. Not sure about a whole new family, but at least they’ve cast normal, jobbing actors and not novelty celebrities.

They do need to try a bit harder with the families they’ve launched over the last few years, though! Nicola is a great character, but they got rid of Jumpers (or he left?) too quickly. George & E-Laine running the Vic all crashed rather quickly, too.

Agree that Nic’s sister and:or brother in law will be shagging around within weeks.

Her sister with George, maybe?
Her BIL with Sharon? Or Chelsea?

Ahh! The new brother in law ( ned ) may go off with Chelsea ..
Might explain the NYD comments about her by Nicola with the broken foot.
Speculation online , they take on the pub .. !
They may be loaded if they have sold up in kent .

Jumpers didn’t want to be Teddy anymore. Can’t say I blame him tbh. He was rather one dimensional at times.
A new head and jumpers may happen, but he is on a murder charge. Like a lot of them , his inside.

For the money they spend on these they may as well train up actors to be in the show long term 🙄

Yep, the guest appearances are silly.

I suppose they will keep the twins on even when Zoe dies ;(

That's quite a lot of characters all at the same time.

The lady in the black jacket is Jodie, the youngest sister.

The boy with the dog definitely looks like a Freddie mark two! Hard to know , but they all look quite loud and will probably be like the Millers or the slaters.

Teddy and Kheerat must be hanging on together unseen on another wing of the prison.🙄

The guest appearances worked well when it was for the anniversary, but this producer is continuing with it for no good reason.

I’m telling you, EE needs a post-watershed prison spin off !

I’d definitely watch a prison version of EE. Could be fun
Throw Chrissie in the mix too ( back in for something or another ) and they could have their own wing and some dishy prison officers. The theme tune wouid be slightly different and show Wandsworth instead of the 02. Rocky knows the prison main man in charge , so he’d have the posh cell with all the mod cons.

Walford Prison must have a revolving door !
The only one who hasn't been inside is Billy -and he's one I'd have put money on . Maybe a night in the cells to cool his heels .

They have all had a prison stint of some kind haven’t they! Suki managed to stay out of it , but only because her son took the blame.
Even if they haven’t been inside , they go for visits.
It’s just part of the life of a soapy character isn’t it, that and hospitals and being injured.

Bellmarsh is nearer , I don't know if it shows up on the intro but it's close .
But a Catergory A .
So not for the likes of our Ian .

I suppose I thought of Wandsworth as it sounded like Walford ! Lol
I had a colleague who used to be a prison officer , he was a bit odd , but as my friend said ‘ he worked in a prison ‘ ! I’m sure they are not all like him though!
