So the 'Who Killed Theo' saga carries on. I think we should find out who it is soon... Fit Kit and Swain are on the case still. (For what its worth!) 😆

Poor Sam has been sectioned, and is quite unwell, and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Gary and Sarah are in cahoots about something, (related to Theo's death, I think.) Oh, and Maria thinks they're having an affair.

Some random lads are chasing and threatening Brodeh. Who knows why!

Ma Driscoll has been quiet for a while.

Will is still sneakily staying in touch with Megan Trainer!

Alya's cousin Idris (who has never been mentioned before AFAIK) has appeared on the street, and has been seeing Leanne.

Carl, Kevin, and dishy Ronnie have buried the hatchet (for now! Hopefully it lasts!)

And what is Jodie going to do with Carl's gun?!

She’s tough. On the ball. The “bad cop” to Swain’s wet lettuce. Gunning for Kit. Could be interesting. If they run a decent storyline. I’m not holding my breath!

Did they really need two police cars and all that police and bash Sarah’s door in to arrest her?

I had to laugh when they were taking Sarah's mugshot, and the cop said 'you OK with this? You young 'uns always want to have a look and have it retaken!'

Firstly, Sarah is nearly 40, and the cop who said it was only about 5 years older than her! 😆 She was acting like Sarah was about 17! I mean Sarah looks younger than her age but not wildly younger, maybe 33.

I don't like Sarah's slacks today. I liked Gary weeping about a Windass winning a prize.

I wondered if Sarah being arrested was some sort of set up by Kit which would in turn end up with Gary being charged but his reaction didn’t seem to line up with that.

Kit seemed to be a bit cocky with Gary, which seemed dumb as they are both deep in trouble but at least gar is not a copper. Kit could lose everything here.

Very true, a cop aiming 'ha ha ha, LOL, bantz innit?' at someone they have arrested, when someone is dead, and the person they're aiming it at is possibly the killer....?!! I don't think this would have happened!!!

Her friend (can't remember which one it was now) said 'I know you have probably never done it' (when they were on about the choking thing,) and Summer said 'why do people think this, that's I'm so prissy that I wouldn't do this?' (I'm paraphrasing as I can't remember the exact words sorry...) And then she went on to indicate she had done it!

And yes, porn DOES have a lot to answer for. I'm so glad I am not a young woman in the 2020s.

As a few posters have said though, I can't see the age group this is aimed at - under 30s - watching Corrie. In fact I'm not sure what the average age group is for Corrie these days.

When I watched it in the 1970s as a child, and 1980s as a teen/young woman, my parents watched it and so did my grandparents and great grandparents. So 4 generations were watching it in my familt... My friends were the same. They watched it, and so did all their family - 3 or 4 generations...

I doubt it's like that now. I imagine most people watching it are Generation X, and Babyboomers. So people born between 1945 and 1985. And in that age range, I would think the largest age group would be born between 1960 and 1975. (So I reckon the majority of people watching Corrie now are aged between 50 and 65..)

I used to watch Corrie with ny family when I was a child. I wouldn't let my children watch it with me now, too many adult themes.

I completely agree. It's not what it used to be at all. It's a cross between The Bill, and Eastenders now. Used to be quite wholesome and family orientated. As you say, no-one under 16/17 should be watching this now.

My kids used to watch it with me when they were growing up but they’ve lost interest. They are late teens/early 20s which I guess is the age this storyline is targeted at.
I think Summer was talking to Maria - I thought she made a good point that it could just have easily been Dylan in hospital.

Yeah @PiggieWig my DC used to watch it in the noughties, but they lost interest, and haven't watched it since around 2010-ish.

I thought the choking was more usually a misogynistic, male dominance thing. Maybe I just assumed.
