Mine is The Big Bang theory, I first watched it a couple of years ago and just love it. It’s funny, Iove all the characters and the relationships they all have with each other, and that there is someone for everyone.

Lots of favourite episodes, I love the one when Sheldon and Amy get married, especially the bit when Stuart knows all the answers to the Star Wars questions and the look on his face when Denise says ‘you are so hot’.

I also love the opening night excitation when Sheldon and Amy have coitus and Leonard, Raj and Howard are watching the Star Wars movie with Will Wheaton (live long and suck it). DH likes the parking spot one the best.

Same. Absolutely love it. We are huge fans and rewatch it a lot. Such a warm and comforting show. We even visited the set and BBT locations in LA.

Mostly Benidorm and Doc Martin, but I always watch detectorists if I happen to see that it’s on. And I find it hard to not watch some of the Carry on Films. I recently discovered late night reruns of Man about the House and Mind your Language, which Im really enjoying.

Also band of brothers every autumn.

Friends and modern family are often on in the background in our house.

Game of Thrones

Downton Abbey

and a bit more niche The World at War-documentary narrated by Laurence Olivier that you will have watched in school if you are around 45!

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 04/06/2026 18:51

Ghosts. It's my comfort watch.

FoxHedgehogBadger · 04/06/2026 18:57

Downton Abbey for me too. Sometimes ITV2 (or is it ITV3?) repeat it and you can watch an episode every day, seeing the time periods and characters progressing in fast-track rather than yearly when it was first broadcast. And it’s (mostly!) so cosy to watch.

Also, on the Drama channel (U&Drama?) on Sundays every week there is a Catherine Cookson period drama. Each week one of a collection of about six. I must have seen them all a hundred times but I still watch every week.

Band of Brothers. Once a year at least.

I used to do this every year around Christmas. Not sure why I stopped; it’s such an excellent series.

lordbaddingham · 04/06/2026 19:11

The west wing is the one I've rewatched the most. Also Buffy and ER.
