Quite predictable for the UK. I'm not sure whether it's a good thing or not but Sam Battle (Look Mum No Computer) seemed to go into this not expecting to do well at all, based on the media-round interviews he was giving beforehand. As Graham mentioned, it sounds like he had a t-shirt with "Look Mum Nul Points" printed on it.

Yep it was popular and played widely in Europe pre-show.

Plus Sam was an excellent vocalist, not to mention he did a huge amount in all the pre Eurovision events and he did it with huge enthusiasm.

We can't just moan that Europe hates us, we have to do the work to send good singers with good songs and do the publicity too.
