So finally the Megan/Will storyline is coming to an end! Sam is still not well though, poor lad...

Connor-Swain and Fit Kit are busy trying to find Theo's killer, and everyone Todd is close to is taking it in turns to babysit him!

Tim is trying to come to terms with the realisation that the thing he had with an older woman (Trisha) 40 years ago, (when he was 14) was actually abuse...

Shona's sister Jodie has managed to push herself into Daniel's house (and his life,) and seems to flit from place to place, with no actual luggage or money!

I know there's probably more...

If they owned their house it might go to her, can never remember if it's joint tenants or tenants in common but in one it goes straight to the other owner. Hopefully insurance to pay off mortgage so could be worth quite a bit.

He also found out she had only booked one ticket to go to France. He was clearly gutted when he realised she was going without him.

Speaking of Todd, I don’t know why he doesn’t go back to the flat above the bookies. Would have been the sensible option from the get go instead of living with George, Christina and Mary

Corrie is set on a formula of panto villains showing up causing mayhem with the regular characters becoming dimwits and fighting like ferrets in a sack

Was she going without him though, or had Tim lied? Given she now seems very keen to get back with him (phone number on slip of paper, sneaking up the ginnel etc) she's nowhere close to dumping him.

I wonder if Will is going to pretend to get back with Megan, but actually set her up somehow?

Perhaps she wants to return the £2000 that Will stole from the safe, the money that no one mentions.

I yawned at Will phoning Megan from the back room in the pub, not caring who was about in his packed home, for about the 50th time

I wondered about the £2000. As you say never mentioned again. The fact that Will stole from his family is obviously okay, A loss like that to a pub would be a big deal.

I just hope that if the script writers are going to do a very difficult storyline with Sam developing full blown psychosis they handle it sensitively, and show how hard it is for victim and relatives. The true horror of it must not be minimised. In fact, full blown psychosis can’t fully be shown in a soap.

I speak as someone having a very close relative go through this torture four months ago, who was sectioned and who now lives with me. We are still dealing with the aftermath on a daily basis. It’s gruelling, and we have a lot of support in place.

Scriptwriters: What are you doing? Either Sam needs early intervention, or you can’t show this horror in a soap.

I’m sorry to hear that @Middlemarch123 but unfortunately soaps these days don’t seem to do stuff properly now. Is your relative slowly getting better?

Thank you @JewelleryCat . Some days are better than others. I can see improvement, but we are often two steps forward and one step back. It’s hard when you are supporting someone close to you, to see a soap sandwich it in between story lines that are a bit frivolous and far fetched. X

I don’t know if you watch Emmerdale but on the thread, we think they’re making a hash of Cains cancer storyline and how it won’t make men get checked so I’m not surprised if Corrie wouldn’t be the same. It will be hard and I must admit, I don’t have any experience of psychosis but hopefully the good days are better than the bad days and more good days are coming 💐

Thanks again @JewelleryCat , I gave up on Emmerdale months ago, but really miss the thread, brilliant posters. Only watch Corrie because it’s just always been part of my tv viewing, grew up with it. Hope to get back to the Dales soon, just for the thread x

Oh dear, poor Bertie, being scared by Daniel. He lost it again tonight! I also thought someone was throwing acid over him! How nasty of that vicious cousin of Alya's to take the piss out of him in front of everyone by laughing at the video online of Daniel having drinks/milkshake thrown over him.
