After Tuesday's festival of Fire and Ice (with no Will Ferrell irony) and the truly wonderfully socked Australia/Austria Interval act from Cutprice Katherine Ryan and her pal Austrian Smashy I'm sure you all can't wait. Tonight sees a Eurovision song called "Ya Ya Ya". Could it be anymore Eurovision? Get your pleather and odd knee high boots on.

1 BULGARIA Dara - Bangaranga
2 AZERBAIJAN Jiva - Just Go
3 ROMANIA Alexandra Căpitănescu - Choke Me
4 LUXEMBOURG Eva Marija - Mother Nature
5 CZECHIA Daniel Zizka - Crossroads
FRANCE Monroe - Regarde
6 ARMENIA Simón - Paloma Rumba
7 SWITZERLAND Veronica Fusaro - Alice
8 CYPRUS Antigoni - Jalla
AUSTRIA Cosmó - Tanzschein
9 LATVIA Atvara - Ēnā
10 DENMARK Søren Torpegaard Lund - Før Vi Går Hjem
11 AUSTRALIA Delta Goodrum - Eclipse
12 UKRAINE Leléka - Ridnym
UNITED KINGDOM Look Mum No Computer - Eins, Zwei, Drei
13 ALBANIA Alis - Nân
14 MALTA Aidan - Bella
15 NORWAY Jonas Lovv - Ya Ya Ya

Ten to Qualify for the Final.
The UK CAN vote in this Semi Final (you vote in the semi you appear in).
Voting for participants opens after the last song has been performed.
Voting for the UK is ONLINE ONLY through the ESC website or app. You need to make a card payment - 15p per vote.

Non participating countries (Hello Ireland) can vote as part the Rest of The World from midnight before the Semi-Final until the show starts when voting closes temporary before reopening after the acts have all performed.

There is a limit of 10 votes per person.

Thanks @RedToothBrush ❤️

I think this is a stronger semi final.
I like Albania, Australia, Cyprus, Latvia, Denmark, Azerbaijan, and maybe Czechia. Also like the Austrian entry.

OublietteBravo · 13/05/2026 07:38

Agree that SF2 is the stronger semi. There are a couple of countries that are low in the odds that I really want to qualify. Especially Latvia.

RedToothBrush · 13/05/2026 07:45

Latvia, Switzerland, Armenia, Luxembourg and Azerbaijan are in the danger zone according to the bookies.

Albania, Czechia and Norway are touch and go.

Denmark, Australia, Romania, Ukraine, Malta, Cyprus (!?) look safe. Bulgaria will get through because of the tactical decision not to wear a bra and to make the singer nearly taken her own eyes out with her bouncing tits.

Of those on the danger zone I really want Switzerland and then Latvia to get through. I like Luxembourg too but think perhaps the song is too ‘nice’ or simple or something.

Cyprus has been very popular but I think the vocals might be shaky, I have always thought Bulgaria’s song was a bit all over the place like ours was last year and the rehearsal clip hasn’t made it seem any better.

I would choose Norway over Czechia but that’s personal taste. I think Czechia’s performance and staging will be good.

Denmark is my no 1 in the whole thing so hoping it will be a good performance and it’s pretty safe anyway. Looking forward to Delta Goodram too.

Place marking!

I haven't heard our entry, I like it to be a surprise, but has got to be better than last years' at the very least.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 14/05/2026 05:34

I thought Tuesday's semi-final was underwhelming, so I'm hoping tonight's will be better.

Taking out her own eyes with her bouncing tits made me laugh. :)

Checking in!

Love the description of the Bulgarian entryGrin.

OublietteBravo · 14/05/2026 19:51

I think Albania, Australia, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Romania and Ukraine will qualify. Less sure on the final three (although very confident it won’t feature Azerbaijan). The bookies say Cyprus, Malta, Norway. But we nearly always get a surprise on the night. I’d love Latvia to go through. But I’m going to say Armenia, Norway, Switzerland.

We’re also going to see Denmark clearing the condensation with their arses. It’ll be quite an evening!

(I love Denmark - my favourites overall this year).

Rylan always looks so groomed.

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2026 20:03

I think this is the point at which it is worth noting that Austrian humour is very slapstick...

It did make me laugh a bit- I like it when it's not completely serious.
