Sam owns a bar doesn't she? In Spain? She mentioned a while ago that a guy who she shags occasionally is running it for her while she's away. So maybe Grant will go and help Sam.

I don't want her to stay, simply because she gets absolutely rubbish storylines and there would be yet more gangland drugs nonsense.

I thought that Sam might stay and have a relationship with Zack, but that was just a fling and he hasn’t been seen for a while ( until next week !)
Maybe Grant will go to Spain next and help Sam with her place. They seem to do well away from the square don’t they.

Ah yes she does have a bar in Spain.

The cancer one was so quick. She could be a good mum to Ricky and her granddaughter, Charlie?

But Sam being a mum and grandmother isn’t exciting plus staying with Phil there’s not a lot to do. But with Denise’s upcoming illness she could be a real rock there. Kim annoys me.

And Kim will go OTT worrying about Denise. Last thing Denise would want.

Kim’s ok but she can be annoying. She’s not the sort of person I’d want around in a crisis. But who knows she may be good and supportive. Sam just has an easy vibe with Denise, calm.

Lily and Charli ! Where have they got to ?
Last seen living at the Vic , but largely forgotten about now. Jean is around, but the Slaters have been side lined a lot at the moment.

The flirty look on Lauren’s face towards Mark… ugh. For someone who’s exposed affairs, really surprised she’s taken a liking to him.

I don’t believe they’re going to have an affair, I think she just likes the naughtiness of making big money easily , he’s the bridge.

could that just be because we now have a softer side of Phil, they’re bonded through Nigel forever; I think they will always care for each other platonically

Lauren was with Zack not that long ago. For someone who exposed her dad’s affair , she is a bit of a hypocrite.

What else are they going to do with Mark if he doesn't have an affair with Lauren? An affair would also be consistent with her being more like Max than she likes to acknowledge, which has been referenced one or two times in the past year or so.

Apologies if this has been discussed already, but when is this "night that changes everything" in EE, as featured in the BBC trailers?

On a separate note, I am sick of Lauren behaving like a sulky teenager over her "business bet". Max really stepped up for her, hoping to right past wrongs, trusting her with the car lot, and she is an ungrateful mare. Don't wish her any harm but wish she would exit stage left. And as for that Mark Fowler II, what a thoroughly bad apple, we've had some nasties over the years on EE, but I reckon he is in the top 5, with the Butcher female murderer and exploiter at the top, won't mention her by name as she does not deserve the dignity of one.

All this car business and his dodgy dealings.. that’s much more interesting than another boring affair

Cherry Slater, remember her? When Hayley left, Kat was given custody of her, but she has disappeared along with Raymond and Kim's kids too.

I do remember Cherry. Didn’t she go back to her mum ? They have never mentioned her at all and surely she can’t be at the Vic? It is a mystery.

Linda wanted Mick’s child once, but she didn’t in the end. She is barely with her own children as it is let alone another half sibling to live with Nan ( or in the kiddie cupboard)

Cherry went back to Hayley years ago.

I thought tonight's episode was really poor and Ross Kemp was terrible. They should not have had him do 'drunk', he does not have the ability. And Mark is a real chip off the old block, he can't act either.

I hate anything to do with the car lot, none of it makes any sense. It looked like Lauren gave Mark about £4k? How is that going to pay off his debt. And he gave it to Grant anyway.

Priya looked very pregnant in the first scenes wearing her coat. Then when she removed the coat, she didn't. I don't know what's going on but if she is the woman in the bed on NYD it wouldn't make sense for her to look pregnant now.

I hope that Mark does pay his dad back. After all, Vicky and Ross have managed it with Sharon ( not as much , but it was thousands ) and they only have normal jobs and not at those much. Mark and Lauren seem to have it all down to a fine art now making the big money now.

Grant paid Mark’s debt, so Mark now owes Grant.. although I don’t think Grant wanted him to give the money back initially. I’m sure he does now lol

I’ve just turned it off, when Grunt and Phil picked up the crow bars. I can’t get my head round how stupid it all is.
