I can understand Dee’s world going upside down , but it doesn’t normally affect your neighbours if your poorly.
Max and Jack are brothers, but when had he ever really bothered about Denise ? He may help a bit , like people do , but mostly people get on with it don’t they.
Anyway , makes you wonder what it’s all about.

I think it's about four characters separately - Max, Denise, Ian and George. With a few others thrown in!

We know what will turn Denise's world upside down.

George will probably find out what is going on with Nicola and Eddie.
Max will probably be something to do with Lauren and the dodgy deals.
Ian, don't know but possibly connected with Lauren.

Chelsea will be involved in the Denise plot, and we also know Gray is show in jail so presumably she'll visit him.

The trailer made no sense to me whatsoever, turn your screen around? Based in the pub with those 4 characters. I haven’t got a scooby.

Ah separately. That could make sense. I thought they were all involved, together.

I read if you turn the screen upside down, all but one are smiling. I think it said the none smiling one is Ian, and his plot involves Chelsea. I guess it could possibly be something to do with his councillor role?

When is this episode from the trailer?

I'm thinking Mad Max must be marrying Cindy now as we're almost half way through the year.

The trailer is referring to the four episodes that will be on week beginning June 1st.

I wonder if they'll be dropped early on iPlayer as usual?

I wouldn’t bank on it. He’s still got 6 months to work his dubious charms on another woman and convince her to marry him which is a lifetime on EE.

There is masses of time for Max to fall out with Cindy, cheat on her and get back with her at least twice. Even then I don't think they'd get married unless it was to annoy Ian/Lauren/George etc.

I'm surprised at Max getting married to anyone. It seems like he's getting fed up of Cindy already.

Can someone explain to me this business with Mark torching the car. How is this going to help him raise £200,000 to pay the old gangster man.

@lazymum99 it makes no sense to me. I have no idea how he could get any money out of it, never mind £200k by Friday.

Doesn't make sense at all does it ?
Especially as Lauren had a buyer lined up for the Cosworth .

And it would get a bit suspicious if half a dozen cars spontaneously combusted in the next couple of weeks .
Insurance ( if it covers ) would take months to pay out .
And if Mark claimed they were thefts from the Arches then Philth would need to up the security and hopefully ban him from using it . He could get away with "I fell asleep in the car and didn't lock up " once but not over and over .

Surely a fake MOT racket would bring more money in. Ask your Uncle Phil how that works
The CarLot had a torched car a few years back , a homeless man sleeping in the car died . (This was Phil torching the car so Frank Butcher could claim )

Then years later Alfie set fire to the house for Insurance and Kat was burned .

Lauren has been the victim of a theft recently when Obvious Random Bloke Standing There stole the keys ( and the paperwork ) and legged it .

And despite all the thefts, arson and break ins, not a single property on the Square has CCTV....

@70isaLimitNotaTarget and @lazymum99 the whole 'car torching' puzzled me as well, I thought I'd missed something. It seems very unbelievable that Sam would get involved as well, because she's been so wise and sensible recently but plot device, I get it. How one car will even make a dent in the £200k Mark needs is baffling.

Most of the plots wouldn't work at all if that was installed anywhere!

Absolutely! No one would even be able to have an affair or push anyone down the stairs, never mind torch a car!

Nevermind CCTV, none of them even seem to have a Ring doorbell 🙄

I’m another one baffled by the logic of burning the car = raising money to pay £200k. Mark won’t even get the insurance money as he’s not the registered owner😂

Would any insurance company touch the car lot business with a barge pole with all the claims they’ve had to make. There was the classic car Mark arranged to be stolen, the car Priya recently stole and wrecked and now this latest one burnt to ashes. The whole place is a liaaabillity.

Also, Mark was told he owed £100k months ago and is supposed to have been paying it off, so why was it still £100k last week when fake gangster Delaney doubled it to £200k. He hasn’t paid a penny in all this time??

None of them has the savvy to buy their own kettle and make their own tea. Even Linda and E-Laine were in the cafe . They have a commercial kitchen ( for the Boot-Eek Hotel ) so must have a kettle or hot water urn.

Do insurance companies look up other claims made elsewhere ? Not sure how it works , but agree that the car lot and Marks name will come up a lot lol
