Nicola hates him , she’ll be happy to finish him off.
She’ll keep Harry quiet by keeping him as manager of the club and things may turn around for George as well.

Harry has seen Gina upset , so I doubt he’ll rock the boat by saying much after all he was going to die anyway and so on.

The Phil / George love in doesn’t extend to naming ceremonies then. I was also surprised he wasn’t invited, but maybe too busy with the funeral arrangements.

Wasn't Vincent's mother of the marvellous bosom buried under the floor there? Or am I imagining things?

He must be dying or he wouldn't have been let out of jail, but who knows how long he'll take about it! Nicola lived in the basement didn't she, when she fell out with Teddy. So it must be fairly plush.

I want to know who's helping him to the toilet. 😧

Yes, very intriguing. The focus is on Ian, Max, Denise and George. Possibly after Vicky’s wedding seeing as it looks like a celebration in the Vic.

Good shout re. Nicola killing him. On the other hand there might be a twist and a redemption arc for Eddie. The music he played to calm Ivy would have been sweet coming from anyone else. Maybe he’s genuine about wanting to make amends. Unlikely though, he does still seem quite evil.

I’m surprised he paid her the money so fast.
I thought he’d just hang on forever with promises of it and she’d never see it. He hasn’t altered his will , must be more in bank accounts? Low six figures in cash is a lot of cash to just have in a holdall!

Yeah I was shocked when she opened up the duffle to find all that money. I was convinced he was lying and the bag was full of torn up paper. And his friend dropped it off so he had all that £££ just laying around in someone’s house😮 He needed Phil’s magic safe.

I said last week they my guess is that he was genuine about the money and some elderly people do still like using and storing cash, so him having a five figure amount in cash (not six figures - it wouldn’t fit in there so would be in the bank?) makes sense to me.

Would Gloria have had life insurance ? Could that be where some of the money came from?
And selling the house ?

I'm also wondering who's helping Eddie with personal care. There must be carers going in.

@Alucard55 it certainly isn't Nicola! She manages to look fragrant and groomed despite having a tiny baby and dying criminal in her house.

George and Harry moved the bed upstairs .
There was an HCP bringing in his oxygen eqipment .

They will have carers of course , this is Walford where GP appointments are available the same day , hospital has empty single rooms ., Ravi got his appointment (though this was after Priya lost the shit with the doctor)
Unless George,Harry and Barney are doing hands on Personal Care , though I can imagine that scene in Steptoe&Son where Albert pretends to be bedriddden so that Harold can look after him. Harold twigs and gives him a bedbath in freezing water Ohhhhh 'Arold

I love the Eastenders trailers ....and the use of "Changes" (David Bowie) they do very good music backgrounds in scenes in the pub too .

Maybe Clelsea wants Ian to help Denice after her diagnosis ?

If they are still buying Linda out of Fox&Hare (the most unbusy salon ever ) they'll need cash
Maybe she will approach Ian to be a partner or for a loan .

Ian was engaged to Denice way back in the days . (And he's loaded and wants to look good to the Community now he's elected )

Well whatever the night changes will probably be nonsensical, going by how all other big plots have gone over the last 2 years.
I haven't seen the promo, but I did see comments online comparing it to stranger things, which I also have not seen.

Found the trailer. Looks a bit odd. What’s with the tilting floor and what not ?

It is a bit strange! I think it's trying to show how much their lives are going to change after that night: like literally being turned upside down!
