Oh come on. I wouldn’t be friends or want anything to do with anyone who was violent towards someone else. It’s appalling behaviour, regardless of culture. You can’t excuse violence due to culture.

They are a bad example of the Traveller community. They say they want to take their DC out of school so they aren't badly influenced and then display appalling behaviour at home. The only good thing they've got going for them is the money in their bank account. They could have given their DC so many opportunities and they've wasted it, even the 8 year old is complaining how much cleaning she's doing.

Well I've no idea how they are perceived from within their community. The TV show isn't made for exclusively for their cultural audience, so as a viewer I do feel like I have an opinion. I wholeheartedly agree they wouldn't want to be my friend either, we have nothing in common.

I did watch the rest of this series....Tyson is incredibly selfish. He talks endlessly of himself - I this, I that, me, me, me.

Without any discussion he tells the family they are moving away - he doesn't take anyone else's feelings into consideration. He doesn't give a thought to the childrens schooling, friends, etc. He doesn't care about Paris's aging parents. His Dad seems to be a big part of his life and he is moving away from them.

He goes on so much about having no purpose and nothing to do. He could coach! Teach young kids boxing.

I like Paris - she copes with a huge amount and speaks very well.

My daughter is 15 - I would be horrified if she got engaged...I would see it as her limiting her choices and opportunities.

Well legally, Venezuela can't get married until she is 18. So that can't be this year!

They moved to the Isle of Man, and they can get married there aged 16 with parent's consent. Not sure if that was the reason they moved

I assumed the IoM is part of the UK, which I didn't know it is not! The law changed recently to no longer allow 16 and 17 year olds to get married, even with parental consent - in the UK. But it seems that doesn't apply to the IoM 😯

I do wonder if Paris can’t leave him through fear. She would get quite a pay off but would she be living in fear of what his family or their associates could do. I would hate to be her - what a life.

Has he said that? Even though he's been with Paris since he was a teenager.. Well that's revolting.

I also hated the way he tells Paris he wants more kids - I'm not sure how much say she gets in the matter. And I thought it was awful when she didn't tell him about losing a baby until a week after it had happened because he had a big match.

He's said it more than once and said other things about his sex life both with Paris and other women in various interviews.

Maybe he's just making it all up? He has got a massive ego. So it might just be for show?

They managed to squash down Tommy’s behaviour somehow too, but everybody was speculating about him getting somebody else pregnant so there must’ve been some Flames to fan there for it to be believable
