I've been searching and I've not found a thread for the new season..

Thoughts?

Prince seems so sweet and shy

@Belindabelle

I am a settler. My parents were more traditional. Funny you mentioned that family, my uncle knows Paddy Doherty. My grandad bare knuckled with many similar “known” families. I just get them. I personally don’t accept the gendered roles within the culture anymore and it would be alien for my own daughters. My sons clean and tidy etc. But me
and my husband still laughed and nodded away. Their hearts are in the right place. I have male family members who can present similarly and have a diagnosis of bipolar, but I just think that’s trauma from deeply suppressed emotions and fighting in childhood etc.

Tyson makes me really uncomfortable
One minute he's fine and happy, and the next he's not, for no apparent reason.
Paris seems to manage it, or accept it but the children are clearly upset by it.

I agree. My Mum had schizophrenia and bipolar and she was a nightmare to be around. Walking on eggshells doesn’t even come close. It was actually quite terrifying. Very similar to how he comes across.

Heatedrival · 17/04/2026 05:56

I found it a very uncomfortable watch. The children seemed almost feral. The older boy who’s out of school and somehow quite lost. What is he supposed to do every day?! The child who is getting engaged or married to another child and everyone seems ok with it.
Tyson is clearly impossible to live with.
Paris just goes along with all the chaos and disorder as she lugs along the worlds biggest Chanel bag.
No wonder there is such a high rate of mental health struggles within the travelling communities especially amongst men. They give up on education early and seem to have nothing to replace it with.

GucciGin · 17/04/2026 07:03

I'm not from a traveller community, but i had the fact they are a traveller community lense on.
Some of the things they do is normal in their culture, which isn't necessarily common in British culture

I love how they still respect and carry on with their culture.

Prince flinging dog poo over the posh gates into oncoming traffic 😱

Meredusoleil · 17/04/2026 07:36

Started watching this last night after enjoying Series 1. My thoughts after 2 episodes:

  1. Venezuela looks and acts much older than 15/16. Poor girl has had to be a second mother to the other 6 younger children. But she doesn't seem to mind!
  1. Prince seems like your normal 13 yo teen boy. Just wants to stay in bed all day and play computer games all night. Shame he has dropped out of school and only has one ambition: to be a boxer like his dad.
  1. Valencia is my favourite. Hilarious character. A real diva in the making!
  1. The other two boys Tutty and Adonis seem to be a real handful.
  1. Athena looks just like Valencia.
  1. Rico is still using a dummy!
  1. Paris has got a lot on her plate but she puts up with it well.
  1. Tyson needs to get his bi-polar under control and stop dumping everything on Paris.
  1. Tommy really has gorgeous blue eyes!
  1. John has put on weight but is still the sexist, chavunist he always was. Despite refusing to accept he is growing old.

Still love watching though. Just to see how the other half live!

I found it quite surprising how much Paris does herself (with the eldest daughter helping). Most women with that kind of money would have a personal assistant and a cleaner.

TheHouse · 17/04/2026 07:53

@blubberball

not surprising at all in the context of their culture. Irrespective of money.

I found that interesting too. I suspect with their background she would find it incomprehensible to hire someone to do what she perceives to be “her” job.

I also found it interesting that despite having all the money in the world they shop at Asda and eat out in all the little local cafes etc! I mean good for them but so strange. Can’t imagine the Kardashians for example doing that!

blubberball · 17/04/2026 07:55

I don't know why, but I thought it would be more about Tyson training and preparing for his return to boxing. A lot of it seemed to be staged and set up for TV. Let's do a surprise party for my dad. Let's go and get married for a 3rd time for some reason.

The poor dog didn't seem to have much of a life. Just seemed to be shut in a kennel, and the young lad couldn't be bothered to feed it a lot of the time. Didn't seem to be allowed in the house or join them on their camping trips.

They have a Nanny and a Cleaner, they just aren't shown on TV to show how much Paris "does" around the house!

Yes. I noticed they shopped in Asda too. Just shows how grounded they still are imho.

MyballsareSandy2015 · 17/04/2026 14:13

Christ can you imagine saving up and splashing out on a special weekend at champneys …. then this feral lot rock up 😳

Pepperedpickles · 17/04/2026 14:52

I find it interesting that the eldest daughter has a very Irish accent and no one else in the family seems to 🤷‍♀️🤔 strange!

Might be linked to the group of friends she has?

I just keep thinking how each child clearly looks like one parent more than the other eg:

Venezuela looks like Paris
Prince looks like Paris
Valencia looks like Tyson
Athena looks like Tyson
Rico too early to tell

Can't remember which is which out of the other two boys Tutty and Adonis!

TheHouse · 17/04/2026 15:03

@Pepperedpickles

It will almost certainly be her social circle. Paris’ Irish twang was also coming out more during a row with Tyson.

Pepperedpickles · 17/04/2026 15:07

Yes, I suspect it is due to her social circles.

I thought this too! Prince looks so much like Paris!

BedknobsNoBroomsticks · 17/04/2026 19:20

Paris did not look happy when Venezuela said she was getting married.
One because she helps out a lot around the house and with her siblings.
Two i think Paris wanted more for her daughter than getting married at a young age like she did.
I like Paris. She has to put up with a lot from Tyson but they clearly love each other.

WhitegreeNcandle · 17/04/2026 20:05

I’m a bit fascinated by this. Surely she has a cleaner. You can’t keep the house that spotless and the girls hair so perfect with no help?!

Fraudornot · 17/04/2026 20:10

They were staying at the same hotel as me last year. I clocked them before I realised who they were because of the feral nature. Kids running around. Paris was changing the baby’s nappy in the middle of the restaurant where everyone was eating. They all just seemed wild. I’m watching the first one of series 2 and just so saddened how early the kids leave school to do nothing. How is it allowed but how restrictive of life choices. I’m particularly sad for the e women in this community. Education is key for women.

Fraudornot · 17/04/2026 20:14

I don’t get the admiration for Paris. She puts up with infidelity. Lazy parenting, children out of control. Having more children when she can’t manage those she has. All she has to admire is money but at what cost to her freedom and self esteem

What infidelity? Tyson seems quite committed to Paris imho.

Edited

It’s not covered in the series but there have been plenty of women coming forward to say he’s cheated on her with them. Whether that’s true or not who knows.

Meredusoleil · 17/04/2026 22:54

I've watched 8/10 episodes now and can't get over all the swearing from everyone including the little boys. Not the girls so much though.

Was flabbergasted at Tyson telling Paris to "stay in her lane". She was right to be upset. What a sexist pig! I wonder if he said it on purpose to set it up for the show to have some drama?
