There’s something about the family that warms me to them.
Having 7 children must be absolute chaos. I wouldn’t say they were feral though.
I think they have strong family values and have been brought up as best as possible. They’re not spoilt rich kids that have lived in a bubble of private schools and skiing holidays. They live a real life. Their school reports were great, yes they swear and misbehave at home, but manage well at school. Apart from poor Adonis, who probably needs a diagnosis.
it’s a shame they don’t go to high school.

You don’t think they’re feral? At the hotel they’re climbing into the trees and fighting with each other. They can’t sit at a table and have appalling table manners, they swear at their parents. If their parents weren’t famous they’d probably have had the police called on them. I’m not saying they aren’t nice kids, they are fine but they’re really badly behaved and the parents don’t care

You don't think they're feral? Getting rid of dog poo by just throwing it over the wall! And I could go on with examples..

A friend lives next door to a Traveller family and this is what they do too....she regularly gets dog poo thrown over her wall. All from dogs that never seem to leave the garden - my friend has never seen them taken for a walk.

I wonder if they just have the dog as a form of security kind of like a guard dog?

Money is so wasted on this family, they are on a road to nowhere. They are such a poor example of a Traveller family, they aren't doing themselves any favours by publicizing the horrendous behaviour of their DC.

The last episode seemed to end rather abruptly imho. Can't believe they've actually sold the Morecambe mansion and moved to the IoM 😳 Really wasn't expecting that!

Also, Venezuela legally can't get married until 18. How is she even still seeing her fiancé Noah since they have moved?!?

I’m not sure they’ve actually sold the Morecombe one as it’s still on their Instagrams very recently - more recently than the end of the series. I wonder if they “sold” it but actually just purchased a second home.

My thoughts are... Venezuela does A LOT and is also a sounding board for her mum and it's maybe no wonder the appeal of getting away and having her own life appeals. I'd have said getting married at 16 was mad, but I actually think it would be less responsibility than she currently has.

Tyson is just so self-centred and as much as he likes to think he's doing things differently for his kids, I still think his relationship with Paris is volatile and toxic, but because they pepper in moments of calm or romance, they think they’re setting an example.

I don't think the way either of them talks to or around their kids is appropriate and you see the effects in how the kids behave and speak.

But the saddest thing is Tyson being so openly discontented with life outside boxing. Must be hard for Paris and the kids to know they’re not enough to fill his cup.

I did think that too. But when I googled it said they sold it last August for £100k less than asking price!

I agree with all of this - it is sad all round actually.

I may be wrong but i think they had more than one house in Morecombe. Read an article about it and the house pictured didnt look like the one in the show. It was slightly different. Will see if I can find the article.

I enjoyed watching this series.
Venezuela is definitely over worked, but I know that's part of there culture

i did a google as to why the move and an attempted break in and drunks and idiots using cell all hours drove them crazy.

This is not the same house that is shown in the tv programme.

He did serve time for that. In that sort of acute, immediate situation it’s eye for an eye in that community. It was either his eye or the other guys. They were originally mates.

It is indefensible and animalistic, but you still can’t say he’s a bad person. Would he do that to a randomer down the street? No. They play and operate within their own rules. They are men of many parts, some good, some bad. They reside in shades of grey. That’s my opinion anyway with traveller heritage.

It is never going to make sense on mumsnet. I don’t think they’re a bad example to the travelling community as someone stated a bit further above. It is what it is…. they bring no bother to their wider community.
