Abby and Alfie are half siblings (as they have the same father) as well as cousins (because their mums are sisters).

I get that (half) siblings is the main relationship but it’s not the same here, the link (which I’d forgotten!) is that the mums (Sam and Roxy) were cousins, not sisters.

Actually remember baby James who died just after they took him home? His mum was Ronnie and his dad was Jack. Ronnie then swapped her baby who died with Tommy Moon who was the same age and it didn’t come out for months. Tommy was then given back to Kat and Alfie.

Jack then was Dad to both James (Ronnies baby) and Amy (Roxy’s baby). So James and Amy were both half siblings and cousins. But how would Priya know that? It was about 15 or 16 years ago, long before Priya came on the scene and is rarely mentioned now.

I remember the actress who turned up as Nicola’s sister in Brookside many years ago. Don’t know what’s happened but she looks half the weight she was. Always got to do all that zany/chaotic silliness havent they. It’s not funny and it’s not endearing and this time round it’s detracted from the excellent acting and storyline regarding Nicola. As if Gray would have been hanging round the visits hall when he didn’t have a visitor booked. The prison scenes are boring me shitless.
