I'm on episode 3 as missed it last night. Stephen is lovely and has emotional intelligence. There is no way he'd be good friends with Dave. Dave would only be one of his peripheral friends.

I lost two, both missed miscarriages and both at exactly the same point in pregnancy (within a day). I spoke to my GP a while later, who told me it’s possible they were girls, and apparently it can be harder to stay pregnant with a girl (I have two boys)

He is such an annoying character. I’ve only seen Episode 1 and Episode 3, episode 2 didn’t record for me so perhaps I missed what Dave and Amanda’s relationship is about.
I did read the synopsis of Episode 2 @Blondeshavemorefunposted but am non the wiser.
From what I have watched there is zero chemistry between them. She looks bored out of her mind with the irritating man child.
What’s the church visit, prayer with the priest stuff about and also the scene in the church in episode 1 ?

I've just finished episode 4. Really struggling with it. The first couple of episodes were good but I just don't think the writer has got the women right at all! I feel like banging all their heads together. I've suffered pregnancy loss and know others that did too and we were all able to talk about it to each other, our friends our colleagues etc. Maybe not after one loss but definitely after 3.
I don't think it's realistic that Lisa would not have said anything of her experience to Amanda as she was supporting her suspected miscarriage. I also don't think it's realistic that Amanda would have been going on about her pregnancy so much to someone she barely knew or spoken so rudely and unprovoked to Stephen, her partners friend. I also think Dave is unrealistic too, yes there are idiots like him but he has zero redeeming features. I'll keep going but I just think the characters are just not realistic.

I think the church in episode one was an anniversary mass probably for her fiance. She's obviously close to the priest and sought spiritual guidance in the later episode

I think she is on the rebound /just wanted sex - possibly even a baby so shags Dave

but she obv can’t stand him - don’t blame her lol

e2 she finds out she has a promotion and going abroad. Dave is desperate to go and hints but she ignores him

I found Dave's relationship with his son so upsetting. Realistic but hard to watch

The relationship between Dave and Stephen is completely unbelievable. While I know male relationships are banter I can’t imagine anyone wanting to be friends with Dave.

I also think the relationship between the two women is unrealistic. At least in my circle, someone would say hey look, I know you don’t mean to be insensitive but I’ve had a miscarriage so this is hard for me. You can tell it’s been written by a man.
