I’d rather have an actual fish finger sandwich

ShamedBySiri · 19/03/2026 20:11

Wow. Missed that about Noma. Thanks. Will read later.

littlbrowndog · 19/03/2026 20:11

A posh toastie

bungobungobungo · 19/03/2026 20:11

Could that food get any smaller?

TheDogsMother · 19/03/2026 20:11

Me too.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 19/03/2026 20:12

A toastie. And soup. Ffs.
I think dh may be sliding into dementia as he is chuckling away at the inventivness of the food.

Fransgran · 19/03/2026 20:12

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 19/03/2026 20:09

There's not a lot on the plate? ! No kidding you tartan wanker.

See, if I say things like that, my kids round on me, screeching "You can't say things like that!"

Sunbird24 · 19/03/2026 20:13

He’s stolen Luke’s pea custard idea!

ShamedBySiri · 19/03/2026 20:13

Pea custard!

Who did that at the pop up challenge?

Halsall · 19/03/2026 20:13

Pea custard! Luke will be furious at his pop-up idea being annexed by the wanky chef

OP posts:
ShamedBySiri · 19/03/2026 20:14

Ah cross post. I remembered it was Luke.

littlbrowndog · 19/03/2026 20:14

Wee bits of food

I do admire him for getting his stars but would never like to eat there. Not that I could ever afford it

littlbrowndog · 19/03/2026 20:15

So teeny tiny

Sunbird24 · 19/03/2026 20:15

Who did Mille feuille in the skills test?

Halsall · 19/03/2026 20:16

That pudding's the only thing I'd hoover up. Actually it's the only thing that resembles a normal plate of food, albeit small.

TheDogsMother · 19/03/2026 20:16

I wonder what these dishes cost.

Ha! One of mine would agree the others would be rolling their eyes.
The pudding sounds lovely, but i could eat three.

littlbrowndog · 19/03/2026 20:17

220 per person

TheDogsMother · 19/03/2026 20:18

littlbrowndog · 19/03/2026 20:17

220 per person

😮 And you still need a snack on the way home !

Uglydumpling · 19/03/2026 20:19

TheDogsMother · 19/03/2026 20:18

😮 And you still need a snack on the way home !

Oh that’s not bad really - but only 5 dishes?

littlbrowndog · 19/03/2026 20:19

That’s it just a dinner tasting menu.

then there’s the booze.

Halsall · 19/03/2026 20:19

TheDogsMother · 19/03/2026 20:16

I wonder what these dishes cost.

The tasting menu is 'from' £220 per guest, but I’m not sure what individual dishes might cost.

ETA Sorry, crossed with @littlbrowndog !

OP posts:
Uglydumpling · 19/03/2026 20:21

i don’t get why they expect them to do it perfectly without practice

littlbrowndog · 19/03/2026 20:21

Halsall. I don’t think there’s any other menu

glen turret is a tiny place.

so I think it’s the tasting menu or nothing

Uglydumpling · 19/03/2026 20:21

Luke’s hair has grown in at sides!
