Subservient to mob mentality is what they are.

I doubt if they’ll be lonely old men if they manage to hang on to their money. Ridiculous rich men can always manage to find ridiculous women.

I doubt they will hang on to their money. A lot of their luxury goods are leased or rented, it’s all superficial ‘wealth’ and I very much doubt they take financial advice and invest for their futures.

I absolutely loved how LT invested £500 to “level up” in the guy’s scam investment opportunity. LT losing all of his investment was 😂.

If you go on HStikkytokky TikTok page he is telling his followers that Louis made 15000 in 3 months

3000% in 3 months? HS is an investment genius…

Rollergirl11 · 13/03/2026 21:20

Apparently HS has deleted all his Instagram posts now since the documentary streamed.

Ireolu · 14/03/2026 07:41

I watched with DH. All the 'men' interviewed came off really bad. Watching HS spiral online whilst Louis did nothing was also quite funny. Glad Myrons GF left him, he's still whinging about that online apparently. It was great that as usual Louis didn't really need to do or say much they dug the holes themselves and came across quite rightly as the twats they are. The hope is young boys see through it all and realise that as usual it's all about self promotion and enrichment.

I was shocked by the woman who had kids with the guy but they weren’t married, and he was allowed to date and see other women and they’d have threesomes. I’d love to have heard more from her. I doubt she’s truly happy. And she has no financial security if they were to split up.

I dont believe that he is actually doing any of that stuff. Its all just catering to his audience who are too young and stupid/desperate to realise. Its all just very sad really, and scary.

Yes, quite possibly! It’s very sensationalist and extreme. The whole thing is a massive scam.

What was the story with those women on the programme that couldn’t name 3 countries. Where did they unearth those women from ? And then like acting as though they are representative of all women.

They bring on woman who either are extremely ignorant or pretending to be and act like all women are like that and their viewers believe it.

An obese woman went viral for going on there saying she was a 10/10. To prove how vain and arrogant all woman apparently are 🙄

Do these viewers actually know any women in real life ? I don’t think I know any women who would know less than 3 countries. Even a class of 5 year olds would know more than that

Worrieddancemum · 14/03/2026 18:07

Louis is just amazing, I love him. Terrifying seeing how popular these communities are

Fizbosshoes · 14/03/2026 19:00

Its easy for us as (im guessing ) 40+ years old cynical women to laugh and criticise these guys. And I make no secret they come across (to me) as very unlikeable and moronic. But its scary that so many young men do engage with them and think thats a message/attitude/lifestyle worth following, and trying to emulate.
And i dont know how the tide can change when this has been pretty entrenched for 5+ years. There doesnt seem to be an oppositional culture or movement to attract would be fans away from that...and they arent going to listen to boring old gits like their parents

i infiltrated online communities of men that think this way and was in them for years you will be surprised how gullible they are whilst believing women are gullible and should have our right to vote revoked.

Podcasters bring on women who pretend to not know what Sweden and India are, they bring on morbidly obese women who pretend to think they are 10/10 and say they deserve a 10/10 man. A suprising large number of men believe this is real and representative of women as a whole, we are mindless “foids” to them (that’s a combination of female and oid as in a mindless robot)

You have to remember there are a lot of people who have no need to leave their home, food delivered, endless entertainment in the form of gaming and internet. There are people who genuinely don’t leave their homes for months or even years on end.

If you watch TV quiz shows you'll soon realise there are an awful lot of people who don't have much in the way of general knowledge.

I haven’t watched a tv quiz show in a long time I’ll admit but naming 3 countries is what I would call extremely basic knowledge. Then again my DH wasn’t particularly shocked he said some people in the USA have very little knowledge of the world outside it.

One memorable moment from my travels was when a really nice young American asked me to explain the difference between London, Europe, France and Paris. He had a degree - and was outside the US (in South America). I can believe the young woman thought Barcelona was a country; she was doing pretty well to know it's the name of a place!

I think "the world is America" also explains why those guys believe it's a universal truth that you have to be rich to get good healthcare, having no income means you live in your car (and you have a car) and so forth. The influencers are selling shortcuts to the American Dream to young people who have no idea there are different ways of doing things.

Young Europeans believe it all, too, though. We must be failing their education. Remember Jay Slater, the lad who fell off a cliff in Tenerife? I wonder if he could've named three countries?

I do remember him. Very sad. I have to say I think you’d be hard pressed to find anyone in Europe of normal intelligence who couldn’t name 3 countries but maybe I’m naive .

Rippeditoff · 15/03/2026 09:16

I have a different take on it.

I’d rather the men who think like this are open about it - they’re literally walking around waving a huge public red flag for all of us to see.

They’ve found a way to monetise low self esteem in men. First tell them they are low value because of x y and z and then sell them the solution. It’s nothing men haven’t been doing to women since the dawn of time (see the global beauty standard and industry making money off low self esteem in women)

Id rather these men were as loud and proud as possible; its better than the same men hiding in plain sight.

WindyW · 15/03/2026 09:41

I was surprised how obvious the scams / ponzi schemes were. It was a great angle, showing how they would say anything to gain attention and a platform to sell porn or their ‘advice’. The more we can teach our kids that the whole architecture of social media promotes extreme content / speech the better.

Rostio · 15/03/2026 10:15

Worth looking at HStikkytokky man’s instagram. Apparently he deleted his old one because he was getting a very negative response. The new channel isn’t going so well either.

Slimtoddy · 15/03/2026 10:21

I think it's all about making money. I think it's an act for most of them as they see it as a way to exploit vulnerable young men and make money. The scene towards the end with the mother telling her son what she expects and his reaction said a lot.

Rostio · 15/03/2026 13:38

I also second the recommendation for Romesh Ranganathan's latest podcast episode where he interviews Theroux, including about this documentary. I laughed out loud a number of times listening to it.

Codyrhodesisaheel · 15/03/2026 22:14

The stuff I’m so struck by is how many of these men have major daddy issues.

HS mum is a disgrace, she should be ashamed of her son, but she’s swapped her parental morals for him to pay for her lifestyle.

the thing that I always come back to is if you have to say your an “alpha” you absolutely are not. Every time Louis saw the influence on kids, he looked like he was dying a little inside,

all of these people, when their fame disappears in five years max, where do they go from there? They all seem supremely unhappy in their lives, and couldn’t get their head around Louis having the best of everything, fame, money, fortune, respect….

but ultimately, all these influencers and content creators bang on about how they don’t like “mainstream media” but they are desperate for the approval of mainstream media. That’s why they all agreed to be involved. Because they wanted to be on Netflix, they want to be on a BBC doc, cos they know that their platforms are so precarious.

Doingtheboxerbeat · 16/03/2026 00:39

A few people on tiktok convinced me to watch it from a comedic point of view, but so far I want to cry, punch my telly and pray my nieces grow up to be gay.

I hate it so much and I'm starting to think we need a draft 😳🫣.
