Anyone else struggle to tell the difference between Suranne Jones and Sarah Parish?

I struggle to tell the difference between both of these British actresses as I feel they look so similar and even play similar parts! Everytime one of them comes on my screen I tend to say to my husband “is that the one that player Dr.Foster?”. My husband thinks I am mad and that they are nothing alike 😱

I’m with you OP - I think it didn’t help that they seemed to be on tv all the time at one point and they sort of merged into one another (in my brain anyway! 😄).

I used to get them mixed up, but then there was a period when Suranne Jones was in just about everything (and I got slightly bored if seeing her )so now I can tell them apart.

Just had a quick Google, SP is 57, SJ is 47. I have always thoight Sarah Parish has looked middle aged in most things shes been in. I really like her but shes always had an older look.

Suranne Jones is fabulous, I saw her in a west end play before and she was amazing!

no, I’d never get them mixed up. I think they’re both quite distinctive looking.

I think I kept getting them mixed up because I kept seeing SP in old episodes of Peak Practice. When she was younger her hair was darker and she did look more like SJ.

No. There’s a decade age difference in them.

I'm not very good at faces. I can't tell them apart at all. White, straight brown hair, big smiles, straight white teeth. I could look at those photos all day and not be able to tell them apart.
