We are about to watch the final episode in the final series of Downton. Our little gang has previoulsy watched all the series of Our Girl, Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers and Spooks. We dipped a toe into Hustle then moved onto Downton which has kept us occupied in the comings and goings of the Crawley family.

Carson is outraged....yet again!!!

Violet is so funny and steals Denker's thunder.

Romance beckons for Mrs Patmore.

Hurray! Thomas can give up that job which was never going to suit him and come back to Downton where he belongs.

Anna goes into labour.

Ahhhh....Edith completely happy....how lovely.

Aw, a happy ending.

Anna has had a little boy. A reunion in the bedroom.

I hope Carson will soften a bit now.

New Year 1926 and all is well in the world and everyone has a happy ending.

Well, I've thoroughly enjoyed our six series of watchalongs. As you said ilove we'll have to decide on our next series, but I am happy to do some OG episodes for a few weeks, while we discuss and agree.

Oh I'm glad you like the idea of OG. It is what got us all together after all. Any particular episodes?

As is Tom’s story, turning into the outsider who speaks truth to power, as it were, but who is accepted as an insider.

Are the films available online? I’d like to see them.

I went to see the latest one at the cinema in September I think but a friend of mine saw it over Christmas on Netflix. The other two films are a few years old now so I bet they will be easily accessible.

Well, I like episode 2 of series 1 - Bashira, grit in the eye and "Don't go breaking my heart" - I still like the whole series, so wouldn't mind any of them.

Obviously, episode 2 of series 2 - "The boys are back in town" and episode 3 is Ok too.

I don't often think about the series after that, but I think eejit likes some in series 3?

I'll go with whatever you all decide but like Rhu would be happy with the entire first series!

The first film is on Netflix. I don't think ITVx has them at the moment.

Me tooI wouldn’t mind all of series one. But if not the whole then episode 2. Of series 2 episodes 2 and 3.

I think it is episode 3 of series 3, the one with the least of the obnoxious brat, and when they go to the FOB, and the first half-hour of episode 4, up to the point of blown kisses when she shows him she’s wearing the ring … oh, and the deliciously awkward last five minutes of episode 2.
and who couldn’t like that bit in the last episode of series 2 - not like you to turn up on my wedding day.

It sounds as if next week we are starting OG1 then! Yippee!
