We are about to watch the final episode in the final series of Downton. Our little gang has previoulsy watched all the series of Our Girl, Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers and Spooks. We dipped a toe into Hustle then moved onto Downton which has kept us occupied in the comings and goings of the Crawley family.

Oh, dear, borrowing the hairdryer.

Crikey, Daisy is going to get herself sacked, rummaging around in Lady Mary's drawers!

Violet sees right through Denker.

Denker deliberately drops Spratt in it, but Violet knows what she is up to.

Denker is so sneaky.

Violet finds it hysterically funny.

Thank goodness that Anna is a skilled hairdresser.

Meanwhile, Dr Clarkson has saved the day and diagnosed Dickie with straightforward anaemia.

Here comes the bride. Edith sorte at last.

Finally, Edith gets to go to a wedding that might actually come off.

I've always liked Edith's story best overall. It's such an interesting transition over the years.
