The Our Girl Addicts Thread 78 Stay focused, we are now watching Downton Abbey

We are about to watch the final episode in the final series of Downton. Our little gang has previoulsy watched all the series of Our Girl, Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers and Spooks. We dipped a toe into Hustle then moved onto Downton which has kept us occupied in the comings and goings of the Crawley family.

Look out for those suspicious eyebrows, Dawes.

The slow walk out onto the bridge. Smurf is like a zombie. Smurf decidesvit would be a good udea to shoot at the guy with the sheep. Lost the plot really

The row on the bridge is about to derail everything,

Now Smurf has really forgotten where he is a d goes off on a rant about his twin brother and all sorts. Mental or what. Cj tries his best with him

I don’t like these bloody bits.

All hell breaks loose. "Man down" and CJ seriously injured. More shooting and they are stranded on the bridge.

Smurf has totally lost the plot and shoots at an innocent farmer with a goat. The goat doesn't make it. He screams at CJ and has always had a chip on his shoulder. How on earth does anyone calm him down when he's this mad.

Molly realises one of the women is in fact Badrai in disguise. CJ gets shot. Is it his left or right leg? Continuity can't decide later, can they!

"Stay with me". Yes, CJ we need you to stay with us. You can't die on us now.

Molly has to look after both casualties as Smurf is injured too.

Not only does she have the two casualties to look after but she manages to shoot Badrai at the same time.

CJ thinks he's a goner and then Molly fires the fateful shot.

Smurf and CJ shot.smurf moaning and to me doesn't seem so serious as CJ but still Molly placates him.

We have our cliffhanger ending to this episode

CJ is airlifted back to Bastion. Everyone is in shock (including us).

Gosh, how we suffered for the week that followed this episode. All the uncertainty fear. The song words are so apt "and you caused it"

"To be continued" so we all start frantically Googling Our Girl to see what happens next! Welcome to Mumsnet!!

Good job I know the ending this time. Wouldn’t want to be worrying for another week like the first time. See you all next week for finale of series 1.
