@Fatrascal27, yes saw Hudson & looking forward to Yaga, also saw the leak of Connor Armani Acqua di Gio ad, can’t wait for official launch.
Anyone going to see April X do report back and I think there is a chance the Connor YSL ad may appear in uk print this weekend, ie Sunday Times/FT as if’s London fashion week.

Ooo. Will keep an eye out. I’m going to see April X this weekend. I’ve seen it once already (at the Raindance festival) but am taking a friend who hasn’t seen it yet. Very much looking forward to seeing Connor on the big screen again.

I went to see April X tonight and thought it was so bad! Connor was good of course and it was lovely to see him on the big screen but the only reason that film has been released is because he’s in it.

Some very excited fans in the audience though, that was cute. Also several women with long-suffering husbands: me included!

Ha! Yeah it doesn’t look like a great film though tbh.

Off to buy the ST in case the YSL ad is in there 🤣

I caught up on a lot of Hudson content since his appearance at TIFF. I do feel a bit sorry for both of them inasmuch they want to be serious actors but have this huge insane fan base as if they were pop stars. I guess a bit like like Robert Pattison post Twilight. I watched Hudson walk the red carpet with the sound turned down because the screams were just too much.

In his interview he came across as so charming and knowledgeable about film. I can’t wait to see Yaga. It looks so good.

I can report there is a YSL ad in the ST but not Connor 😭😭

@Fatrascal27, it’s so annoying it’s a double page of Lui Wen instead, and the FT fashion magazine this weekend was Mens fashion but no YSL advert.

I liked April X better on the second watch. The script is not great in places but the premise is good and Connor is amazing anyway.

He has a lot of charisma and screen presence

I was in the minority when it came out. I just didn't like it. I watched the first 3 episodes expecting to love it as I'm a huge fan of QAF,it's a sin etc.

Thought I'd give it a go yesterday as I'm annoyed with myself for not liking it and I love it. Not sure why it didn't hook me in the first time 😕

Great time seeing Connor on the big screen in April X. The film was better than I expected and his voice in the voiceovers is soooo dreamy!
I also picked up a copy of Dazed with the YSL advert of him lying on the floor so I feel my YSL advert fix has been met.

Also for anyone who missed it last week, the Off Menu podcast episode with Sanjeev Bhaskar has James Acaster explaining HR to Sanjeev and Ed Gamble who gives a shout out to the Tonsil Hockey podcast.

For the MM bookworms amongst us.. can I reccomend a book? My first 6* read in a long time.
