The boys rocking the Met Gala.

Connor's outfit is beautifully tailored but I think YSL is could have been more imaginative for the gala. I like Hudson's more, but I don't know why the make up references Black Swan when he is wearing an outfit inspired by a matador jacket? Also pants should be shorter (here is full body picture), the way they drape is unfortunate.

I am so late to the party, but I just finished watching HR today and I fear I may never be the same again.

Have spent all afternoon ignoring my responsibilities and watching reels of these two.

I love that Connor is dressed as a Loon. Polka dots and red jewel (like their eyes),

I agree on Hudson’s. Great outfit but the fit wasn’t quite there.
That is what elevates Connor’s though imo. The fit and the proportions are just perfect. Makes the whole outfit. I love it so much. Understated, yes - but very YSL and Connor loves some good tailored menswear. You could tell that he felt comfortable and confident in it.

Hudson has a long body and short legs, so really he would look better in high waisted trousers. As they were so low, they really highlighted his short legs which made it look a bit odd as the fabric wasn’t the right weight to be over long. Great outfits for both though, including the after party outfits.

I think Hudson often wears clothes or sunglasses than don't do him any favours. He can pull it off because he is 'cool' now, but they will look plain ugly in 10 years.

Yes! He’s lovely but his long body /shortlegs build needs better styling. Gorgeous face though. Very cool. I like his attitude too.

I've just finished reading the Long Game. They had better include the scene where Ilya is dressed as a Gladiator in series 2 or I will be forced to stage some kind of protest, and it will not be peaceful.

Yes. Really want to see that. My HR photo folder now has nearly 600 pics in it and I want a gladiator to add to that!

I’ve just finished Common Goal. Loved it. I’m not sure what I liked best. Heated Rivalry I think bit Role Model and Tough Guy I enjoyed too.

Have you seen Jacob’s interview re HR 2 and there’s going to be use of Mozart’s Requiem throughout one episode. If you’ve read the LG there is lots of opportunity to use this in some pivotal scenes and in relation to Ilya. We will be going through it.

Talking of Hudson and Connor…I OD’d on all of the Met Gala content. I have limited interest in this event but watched for them.

I've only read HR and the Long Game, and now I feel like if I read anything by Rachel Reid that isn't a Shane and Ilya story I won't enjoy it as I'll find it hard not to compare.
